Sa lahat ng aming mga g**o, maraming salamat sa pagiging tanglaw at gabay sa bawat yugto ng aming paglalakbay bilang mga estudyante.

Ngayon, ipinagdiriwang namin kayoโ€”hindi lamang para sa kaalamang inyong ibinabahagi, kundi para rin sa pag-asa na itinatanim ninyo sa puso ng bawat mag-aaral. Ang inyong walang-sawang pagtitiyaga ang nagpapaalala sa amin na huwag sumuko; ang inyong karunungan ang nagbubukas ng mga pintuan ng mga bagong posibilidad; at ang inyong kabutihan ang nagbibigay sa amin ng lakas upang magpatuloy.

The Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX) proudly took part in the Mathematics Quiz Bee 2026 held at the Oikumene Chapel on September 23, 2026. Their active presence and support reflected the organizationโ€™s dedication to service, collaboration, and academic excellence.

By joining this academic celebration, JFINEX strengthened unity among student organizations and showcased the UCCian spirit of Faith, Integrity, Responsibility,Excellence, and Service. Truly, their participation added value to the success of the event and inspired fellow students to embrace teamwork and scholastic achievement.

The Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX), represented by JFINEX CEO Rafael Aniel R. Feraren with the other Organization Presidents of the School of Business Sciences , attended the "Future-Ready HR: Bridging Filipino Generations Through AI for Organizational Success" Induction and Learning Session hosted by the People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), on September 15, 2026, at Hotel Ariana & Restaurant, Paringao, Bauang, La Union.The student leaders were joined and supported by the JFINEX Adviser, Ms. Rhona Liza M. Rimorin and Ms. Rhea Joy V. Laconsay, Secretary of the President of UCC.

The program opened with a powerful keynote address from Ms. Honorina Dianbaga, Regional Director of the Department of Labor and Employment, who reminded us that as technology rapidly evolves, we must never let AI make humans less human. She emphasized that our goal must be, to adopt change without leaving anyone behind, focusing on upskilling workers rather than replacing them.

Building on this human-centered foundation, Mr. Jerry Bonifacio, COO of PM Consulting, broke down his T.U.L.A.Y. framework for leading a multi-generational workforce. He pointed out that "hindi kailangang pare-pareho para magkaisa," challenging us to move from simply being multigenerational to truly intergenerational by letting wisdom flow downward and innovation flow upward.

Concluding the event, 2026 PMAP National President Mr. Engelbert T. Camasura delivered a masterclass on building a "Human-Led, AI-Powered, Value-Driven" organization. He challenged leaders to redesign work before redesigning headcountโ€”focusing on capabilities over fixed job descriptions, starting with real business value rather than just tools, and recognizing that while technology can be copied, organizational culture and capacity to adapt cannot.

On September 16, 2026, the Junior Financial Executives - UCC Chapter successfully hosted a seminar on, "SMART VAULT: Student Financial Literacy and Fraud Awareness," with the theme "Beyond the Balance: Insights into Digital Banking Safety and Fraud Awareness." The said seminar started at 8:00am and was held at the Oikoumene Chapel, SDC building, Union Christian College.

The program began with inspiring opening remarks from Mr. Rafael Aniel R. Feraren, JFINEX CEO. This was followed by Clarisse LM. Ordoรฑo, JFINEX Executive Secretary, who warmly introduced the esteemed speaker, Maverick C. Maglanoc, Marketing Officer from the Land Bank of the Philippines San Fernando Branch

During the seminar proper, Mr. Maglanoc delivered an engaging, dynamic, and deeply insightful session tailored for today's digital generation. He thoroughly unpacked the critical mechanics of digital banking safety, walked participants through real-world fraud schemes, and equipped attendees with actionable strategies to identify financial risks, spot online scams, and proactively safeguard their personal and future assets.

We were also delighted to have the Junior Institute of Future Accountants (JIFA) as co-participants, making this seminar a truly collaborative success!

BEYOND FINANCE: JFINEX JOINS HANDS WITH THE LA UNION DYNAMIC LIONS CLUB

The Junior Financial Executives (JFINEX) โ€“ Union Christian College Chapter is proud to have partnered with the La Union Dynamic Lions Club for Pannakaamiris: The San Fernando City, La Union Short Film Festival 2026, held on September 5โ€“6, 2026.

As one of the participating organizations, JFINEX had the privilege of running a booth throughout the two-day event. This supported the La Union Dynamic Lions Club in creating a meaningful space for students, young leaders, artists, and community members to unite and celebrate local talent.

This partnership extends beyond a single eventโ€”it reflects our shared commitment to youth involvement, community engagement, and supporting local artists and initiatives that drive a positive impact.

We sincerely thank the La Union Dynamic Lions Club for trusting JFINEX and granting us the opportunity to collaborate in this meaningful celebration of creativity and local storytelling.

Today, we celebrate not only a remarkable dean, but also the woman who has become a mother to us in the School of Business Sciences.

Beyond the titles, the lessons, and the responsibilities, you have given us something far more meaningful: the courage to stand on our own, the strength to face challenges, and the confidence to believe that we can become the leaders we aspire to be.

You have shaped us not merely into students who know how to succeed, but into individuals who know how to persevere, lead with purpose, and carry themselves with integrity. In your guidance, we have found direction. In your firmness, we have found strength. And in your care, we have found a home.
