DALAWANG PANGANGANAK, AGARANG RINESPUNDIHAN NG PULIS; INA AT SANGGOL LIGTAS

Dalawang magkahiwalay na insidente ng panganganak ang agad na naagapan ng kapulisan sa Albay at Pangasinan, na muling nagpakita ng malasakit at kahandaan ng Philippine National Police sa oras ng emergency.

Sa Rapu-Rapu, Albay, bandang alas-2:30 ng hapon noong Mayo 2, 2026, rumesponde ang mga tauhan ng Rapu-Rapu Municipal Police Station matapos makatanggap ng tawag na may buntis na nanganganak habang sakay ng motorbanca sa gitna ng dagat.

Sa aktuwal na sitwasyon, inabutan na ng panganganak ang ginang, at dito naipakita ang kahandaan ni PCpl Rachelle Dondonilla, isang pulis at lisensyadong nurse, na maingat na tumulong upang masigurong ligtas ang ina at sanggol bago sila isinugod sa ospital. Ligtas ang mag-ina sa kasalukuyan.

Samantala, sa San Jacinto, Pangasinan noong Mayo 3, 2026, isang babaeng nasa aktibong naglalabor ang humingi ng tulong sa himpilan ng pulisya. Dahil sa mabilis na aksyon ng mga tauhan ng San Jacinto MPS, naipanganak ang sanggol sa isang tricycle sa harap mismo ng istasyon. Agad ding isinunod sa pangangalaga ng rural health unit ang mag-ina para sa karagdagang gamutan. Ligtas ang mag-ina.

Pinuri ni Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. ang mga tauhan sa kanilang mabilis at makataong aksyon.

“Ito ang uri ng serbisyo na inaasahan ng ating mga kababayan—handa, maaasahan, at may malasakit. Hindi lang ito tungkol sa tungkulin, kundi sa tunay na paglingap sa kapwa,” ani PGen Nartatez.

Dagdag pa niya, “Sa ganitong mga pagkakataon, naipapakita natin na ang pulis ay hindi lamang tagapagpatupad ng batas, kundi katuwang sa pagligtas ng buhay.”

Ang insidenteng ito ay patunay na sa oras ng pangangailangan, maaasahan ang kapulisan—kahit sa gitna ng dagat, walang inuurungan pagdating sa serbisyo.

Patuloy na isinusulong ng PNP ang adhikaing Bagong PNP para sa Bagong Pilipinas: Serbisyong Mabilis, Tapat at Nararamdaman, sa pamamagitan ng mga gawaing tunay na sumasalamin sa malasakit at dedikasyon sa sambayanan.

PRO 8 LEADS SUSTAINABLE FOOD PRODUCTION INITIATIVE IN POLICE CAMPS

The Police Regional Office 8 (PRO-8), continues to advance practical and community-centered programs with the launch of its “Gulayan sa Kampo” initiative, a sustainable food production effort aimed at promoting self-sufficiency, environmental responsibility, and healthier living among police personnel.

Through the program, idle spaces within PRO-8 camps are being transformed into productive gardens that yield fresh vegetables and other produce for personnel consumption. Beyond supplementing daily food requirements, the initiative encourages teamwork, discipline, and shared responsibility among personnel while also promoting organic and environment-friendly practices.

In a statement, Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. emphasized the value of initiatives like this in strengthening both morale and resilience within the organization.

“Simple but meaningful efforts like Gulayan sa Kampo remind us that resilience is not only about operational readiness, but also about how we take care of our people. Kapag may malasakit at pagtutulungan, kahit simpleng taniman, nagiging simbolo ito ng pagkakaisa at pag-asa,” he said.

PNP noted that the initiative is also a reflection of the Filipino spirit of adaptability and cooperation, turning available resources into practical solutions that benefit both personnel and the wider community through shared harvests and sustainable practices.

Tinulungan ng mga pulis sa San Jacinto, ang isang babaeng manganganak na nanganak sa loob ng tricycle sa labas ng istasyon noong Linggo, ika-3 ng Mayo. Dahil sa agarang responde, ligtas na naipanganak ang sanggol. Dinala rin ang mag-ina sa ospital para sa karagdagang pangangalaga matapos ang insidente.

102nd Maneuver Company RMFB1 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀

Intelligence Operatives of 102nd Maneuver Company RMFB1 were awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan for the successful and well-coordinated implementation of a Warrant of Arrest conducted on January 21, 2026, in Brgy. Balili, La Trinidad, Benguet and Brgy. Guinzadan, Bauko, Mountain Province. The operation led to the arrest of a Top 7 Most Wanted Person at the PRO-CAR level for the crime of Qualified Theft under Article 310 of the Revised Penal Code.

Through careful planning, intelligence gathering, and close coordination with allied units, the 102nd Maneuver Company Intel Operatives were able to locate, track, and safely apprehend the accused without incident. This accomplishment highlights the unit’s strong commitment to public safety and its relentless efforts in the campaign against criminality in the region.

The arrested individual has a recommended bail of ₱1,588,000.00 and was listed with a monetary reward of ₱50,000.00 under Executive Order No. 2026-2, dated January 9, 2026.

This operation underscores the continued dedication of law enforcement to uphold justice and maintain peace and order across communities in the Cordillera Administrative Region.
