A CHAMPIONSHIP FOR SAMAR, A PRIDE FOR BASEY!

The Municipality of Basey proudly celebrates as the Province of Samar emerged as the Overall Champion during the 52nd PYAP Anniversary Celebration held in Dulag, Leyte.

This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication, teamwork, talent, and unwavering commitment of every Samar delegate who represented the province with pride and excellence. We are especially proud of our Baseynon youth who contributed their skills, passion, and determination to this collective victory.

We extend our sincerest gratitude to Mayor Luz Basas Chu Ponferrada for her unwavering support and commitment to youth development. We also recognize LYDO Rhoy Odal Avila for his guidance and dedication in empowering the youth, SK Federation President Aljo Cabos Gaw for his leadership and continuous encouragement,MSWDO Welms Bacayo Sacres for her support and commitment to the welfare and development of the youth, MGADH Rassendyl Llenado for his invaluable assistance and dedication throughout the celebration and to the PYAP-Basey Municipal Federation led by Engr. Lara Mae Duquilla Sumayod.

This achievement would not have been possible without the collective efforts of our local leaders, youth workers, chaperones, and delegates who worked tirelessly to ensure the successful participation of Team Basey.

As we celebrate this milestone, we are reminded that true victory lies not only in the awards received but in the friendships built, experiences gained, and the spirit of unity that brought us all together.

Congratulations, Team Samar! Congratulations, Baseynon Youth! Your hard work and dedication have made our municipality and province proud.

🔥 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐦, the 𝐁𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐘 𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐄𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄 proudly took part in the 𝖡a𝗒𝖺𝗇𝗂 𝖢𝗁𝖺𝗅𝗅𝖾𝗇𝗀𝖾 𝟤𝟢𝟤𝟨: 𝖣𝗂𝗐𝖺 𝗇𝗀 𝖡𝖺𝗒𝖺𝗇𝗂𝗁𝖺𝗇 held in Basey, Samar from May 11–15, 2026.

For five meaningful days, the youth became hands and hearts of hope and change, showing that when young people come together for service, communities become stronger and brighter. Through teamwork, dedication, and true bayanihan spirit, this experience went beyond an event and became a powerful movement of young changemakers committed to making real impact and inspiring others to serve. ✨️
