LETTER OF APPRECIATION.
Scrap-to-Fab started off as a requirement for our academic endeavors, little did I know that this initiative would only not teach me lessons for my future academics but also life lessons that can truly help in building a better community.
The success of Scrap-to-Fab is truly unexpected for me. Looking back, I was always worried that our implementation would fail specially for me as I knew that I lacked proper knowledge to lead the group. It was scary for me if I had to admit it. I remember during our first defense, both me and my co-leader felt disappointed of the results of that defense and on the day before our Final Defense, I decided to finally renew my membership in the church and prayed deeply for God’s guidance that day.
We encountered a lot of difficulties before the success of this campaign. It wasn’t easy as students for us to handle such a big project while also handling other subjects. In the end, it was all worth it. Scrap-to-Fab had gained the Best Capstone for HUMSS award this school year.
With that, I, on behalf of the whole Scrap-to-Fab team, would like to express my deepest gratitude to the people behind the success of this campaign.
To our target community, Rosario, Batangas, we are very grateful for your wholehearted acceptance of our advocacy campaign. Thank you for allowing us to implement this campaign in this municipality and share our knowledge with you. We truly hope that we have left a significant impact not just on our target respondents but also on the community itself.
To the tailors of Rosario, we express our greatest gratitude for sharing your talent with us and using our campaign as an outlet to express your creativity. Truly, the success of this campaign would be impossible without your presence.
To our Child models and their parents, We hope that we were able to give you a memorable and fun experience through your participation in this campaign.
To our teachers, Miss Sanchez and Miss Mayuga, we will always be grateful for your guidance throughout the development of our campaign and our paper. Without you, we would not be able to gain the knowledge we need in order to successfully implement this campaign. Thankyou for always being there for us during the time of the development of our paper and campaign.
And lastly, To the members of Scrap-to-Fab, I thank you for the efforts you put into the success of our campaign and our paper. We all had a difficult journey. I had always looked at us as the “weakest link” not because I didn’t trust you guys but rather because I was the leader appointed to you. It was really scary for me. Although this wasn’t my first time leading a group, this was the first time I felt a heavy weight put upon me because I knew that a project like this would be difficult to manage. I want to thank everyone for giving me the opportunity to lead this campaign, although I was doubtful of myself at first, in the end you all helped me to strive and become a better leader as time went by. I would like to thank my co-leader, Daphne, who had given full support and a lot of effort in managing the group. I truly don’t know what I would’ve done without you as my co-leader. To everyone who traveled far to reach our target community, I know it wasn’t easy yet, you all had put an effort to come and implement our campaign. I’ve seen all the struggles we faced as we also deal with our own academic and personal endeavors. The almost sleepless nights we had, the tears we shed, the efforts we gave and the memories we shared had all paid off. I am truly truly proud of everyone and I wish you all nothing but the very best in your next journey in life, Congrats BEST IN CAPSTONE GROUP!
This success is not only a success for H12-01 group A but rather also the success of those who had helped us throughout this campaign. Once again, Thankyou to everyone behind the success of Scrap-to-Fab. We hope to see all of you again one day.
Sincerely,
Arañez, MC — leader of scrap-to-fab
