🌈 LGBTQ+ rights are human rights.
Every person deserves the freedom to live authentically, safely, and with dignity, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression.

Equality is not about giving special privileges. It is about ensuring that no one is denied opportunities, protection, education, employment, healthcare, or respect simply because of who they are.
The SOGIE Equality Bill is not just for LGBTQ+ Filipinos. It benefits everyone. It strengthens protections against discrimination, promotes fair treatment in schools, workplaces, public services, and communities, and helps build a society where people are judged by their character and actions rather than prejudice.

Perhaps one of the most fascinating things about our world is that same-sex behavior has been documented in more than 1,500 animal species. Diversity has always existed in nature. Yet despite being the most technologically and intellectually advanced species known to us, humans often create divisions and hostility over differences that occur naturally throughout the living world.
Our intelligence gives us the ability to reason, to empathize, and to recognize the dignity of others. It gives us the power to choose understanding over prejudice, inclusion over discrimination, and unity over division.

Human rights are universal. When we protect the rights of one group, we strengthen the rights of all.

As we officially conclude Project Lakbay Likas, our hearts are filled with gratitude for everyone who helped transform five simple days into a meaningful journey of learning, culture, creativity, and community.

We extend our sincerest appreciation to Mr. Edric Calma, President of LIKAS, together with the entire LIKAS Crew and Staff, for sharing Morong's rich history and inspiring our young participants to take pride in their heritage.

Your enthusiasm, curiosity, creativity, and willingness to learn transformed our small gathering into a thriving community of young advocates, artists, and visionaries.

What began with only four children on the first day grew into a room filled with laughter, learning, friendship, and hope. Together, we proved that young people still crave meaningful experiences, real connections, and opportunities to grow beyond their screens.

This is not the end of Lakbay Likas—it is only the beginning.
