𝙎𝘾𝙄𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀 𝙄𝙉 𝘼𝘾𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉: 𝙎𝘾𝙋𝙎 𝘾𝙀𝙇𝙀𝘽𝙍𝘼𝙏𝙀𝙎 𝙎𝘾𝙄𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙃

Sta. Cecilia Parochial School (SCPS) celebrated its much-awaited Science Month Culminating Activity with the theme “𝙃𝙖𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙣𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙣: 𝙋𝙤𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙪𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙏𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙎𝙘𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄𝙣𝙣𝙤𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣” on October 6, 2025, at the SCPS Covered Court. The event, hosted by Ms. Mariel Angeles and Ms. Christalline Lumugdan, aimed to highlight the importance of curiosity and innovation in shaping the future.

The program began with a solemn flag ceremony, followed by the Welcome Remarks delivered by Jim Salvador Narag, which set the tone for an inspiring and innovative day. “The future belongs to those who ask questions and share ideas,” he emphasized.

Afterward, the Awarding of Winners took place, recognizing achievers from various science-related competitions, including the Coloring Contest (Kinder to Grade 2), Atom-mazing Minds Quizbee (Grade 3), Scie-Celians Race (Grades 4 to 6), and Digital N’ Artistic (Junior High School).

A heartfelt intermission performance by the school band followed, stirring emotions among the students. The highlight of the event, the Futuristic Invention Presentation by Senior High School students, captivated the judges and audience with creative, eco-friendly, and practical inventions that envision a safer and more innovative future.

The program concluded with another round of intermission and awards, followed by Closing Remarks from Chara Nicole Taduran, who expressed gratitude to the pupils and teachers for their participation and dedication. The event ended with a closing prayer of thanksgiving and inspiration.

The official rules for the Futuristic Invention contest are provided in the images below. All participants are advised to review these guidelines carefully to ensure compliance.

𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐒𝐔𝐁𝐌𝐈𝐓:

1. Open the provided Google Drive link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1E5Bl94iXYVvSLFzvjOkAeXf8mTJbq5Ry

2. Create your own folder with 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥, 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝, and 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 as the folder name.

3. Upload your PowerPoint Presentation and photos of the final product.

All presentations must be submitted on or before 𝙁𝙍𝙄𝘿𝘼𝙔, 𝙊𝘾𝙏𝙊𝘽𝙀𝙍 3, 2025.

𝙎𝘾𝙄-𝘾𝙀𝙇𝙄𝘼𝙉𝙎 𝘾𝙍𝙊𝙎𝙎𝙀𝘿 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙁𝙄𝙉𝙄𝙎𝙃 𝙇𝙄𝙉𝙀!

The Sci-Cecilian Race has officially concluded, and what an exciting race it was! A huge congratulations to all the pupils who demonstrated their knowledge and speed as they race their way through the science questions and tasks.

Our teams were fast, fierce and ready to take on questions and showed off their skills to tackle every problem, and we can't wait to reveal who crossed the finish line the fastest! Stay tuned for the official race results, and get ready for some noise!

𝘼𝙍𝙏 𝙈𝙀𝙀𝙏𝙎 𝙄𝙉𝙉𝙊𝙑𝘼𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉: 𝘾𝙊𝙇𝙊𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝘾𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙀𝙎𝙏, 𝘿𝙊𝙉𝙀!

Art meets innovation as Kinder-Grade 2 Cecilians successfully participated in the Coloring Contest, held on Monday, September 12, 2025. The event was facilitated by teachers and Science Club Officers.

Our judges are hard at work right now, going over all of the amazing submissions. We appreciate every student who took part in the Coloring Contest!

The winners will be awarded at the Culminating Activity, which will take place on October 6, 2025.

What a thrilling display of wit, Knowledge, and scientific brilliance! ✨

The 𝘼𝙏𝙊𝙈-𝙈𝘼𝙕𝙄𝙉𝙂 𝙈𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙎 quiz bee has officially wrapped up on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, and we are proud of all the participants who showcased their sharp minds and love for science.

Congratulations to those who won, as well as to those who tried their best and participated in this activity! You are all champions of curiosity and innovation!

𝘿𝙄𝙂𝙄𝙏𝘼𝙇 𝙉' 𝘼𝙍𝙏𝙄𝙎𝙏𝙄𝘾 𝙐𝙋𝘿𝘼𝙏𝙀

Creativity and innovation filled the Sta. Cecilia Parochial School's computer labs and classrooms as Junior High School students participated in the “Digital N’ Artistic” poster-making activity, which took place from Thursday, September 11, 2025, to Friday, September 12, 2025. Using tools such as computers, mobile phones, and digital art applications, the event encouraged students to showcase their talents and bring their ideas to life.

The activity not only honed their technical skills but also highlighted how science is present everywhere, shaping both the present and the future.

Here are some updates to keep you informed about this month's events as we commemorate Science Month:

1. Grades 1 and 2 will now compete alongside Kinder pupils at the Coloring Contest.

2. Participants for the Atom-mazing Minds Quiz Bee will be from Grade 3 only. The competition is moved to September 17, 2025.

3. The Sci-Celians Race will be held on September 18 - 19, 2025.

4. The Digital N' Artistic competition will be conducted on September 11 - 17, 2025.

The final event will still take place on September 26, 2025, with the presentation of futuristic inventions and announcement of winners. Stay tuned for further updates!

Theme: “Harnessing the Unknown: Powering the Future through Science and Innovation”

This September, Sta. Cecilia Parochial School celebrates Science Month with exciting activities designed to unleash the unknown through creativity and innovation. Kindergarten pupils will join the ℂ𝕠𝕝𝕠𝕣𝕚𝕟𝕘 ℂ𝕠𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕤𝕥, Grades 1–3 the
𝔸𝕥𝕠𝕞-𝕞𝕒𝕫𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕄𝕚𝕟𝕕𝕤, and Grades 4–6 the 𝕊𝕔𝕚-ℂ𝕖𝕝𝕚𝕒𝕟𝕤 ℝ𝕒𝕔𝕖. Junior High students will showcase their talents in 𝔻𝕚𝕘𝕚𝕥𝕒𝕝 ℕ' 𝔸𝕣𝕥𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔’, while Senior High will express innovation and creativity in the 𝔽𝕦𝕥𝕦𝕣𝕚𝕤𝕥𝕚𝕔 𝕀𝕟𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟 contest.

The celebration will culminate on September 26, 2025, with the Recognition of Winners and the Futuristic Invention showcase at the SCPS Covered Court. These activities inspire every SciCelian to explore science as stepping stones to empowering the future.
