🌎 : Changing the Narrative on Su***de.
In observance of World Su***de Prevention Month 2025

From January to June this year, the PNP reported nearly 2,000 su***de cases in the Philippines a sobering reminder that su***de is one of today’s most urgent public health concerns.

Behind these numbers are real lives, real stories, and silent battles rooted in mental health struggles, trauma, social pressures, and economic hardship.

This September, we come together to shed light on these realities and to break the silence. Su***de is preventable through awareness, timely support, and compassionate conversations.💙

Join us in our webinar “ : Changing the Narrative on Su***de”, an initiative of the Mental Health Youth Hub PH, as we:
🔹 Raise awareness and debunk misconceptions about su***de
🔹 Promote help-seeking and access to support
🔹 Empower the youth to embrace hope, resilience, and healing

🗓 Save the date: Saturday, September 20, 2025 | 1:00 PM

We’re reclaiming the S line, and giving it meaning.

You may not fix what hurts.
You may not understand it all.
But you can be the warmth they remember.

• Let the tears fall without needing reasons. That’s Support.
• Offer quiet company. Sit with them. That’s a Safe Space.
• You didn’t walk away. You let them feel seen. That’s Someone Who Stayed.

Trace a line that leads to hope.
Be the S that saves.

To live for the hope of it all
means trusting the smallest flickers:
a text, a soft sky,
a friend who doesn’t ask you to explain.
Hope, even when borrowed,
is still real.

Akala ko, 'pag tumigil ako, mapag-iiwanan ako.
Pero ngayong nandito ako… walang humahabol.
Walang humahatak.
Ako lang pala ‘yung matagal nang nagpapaikot sa sarili ko.
Ngayon, pipiliin kong bumaba muna… at pakinggan kung anong sinasabi ng katahimikan.

Life can feel heavy sometimes, and it's okay if it’s weighing on you more than usual. But in the middle of the pressure, don’t forget to care for yourself too. You don’t have to carry everything perfectly. You’re allowed to pause. You’re allowed to breathe. Resting doesn’t mean you’re giving up it means you’re human. And sometimes the bravest thing you can do is simply keep going, one small step at a time. Look at how far you’ve come. That matters. And so do you.

Padayon! 💚🙏

Padayon! 💚🙏

May mga pahinang puro iyak lang ang laman.
Pero ngayon, hindi ko na sila gustong burahin.
Kasi ‘yon ang nagpapaalala sa’kin
na marunong pala akong magmahal,
magtiis, at umasa.
Na kahit nadurog ako noon,
may bahagi pa ring nagpursige.
At ‘yon ang bahaging ‘di ko kailanman dapat ikahiya.

There’s a quiet kind of comfort in knowing that someone is still being remembered. That their name is still spoken in conversation, that stories about them are still shared. It doesn’t bring them back, but it brings warmth — a reminder that love doesn’t disappear, it simply shifts. Those we’ve lost leave pieces of themselves behind in the people who carry their memory and sometimes, hearing there name spoken out loud is enough to remind us that they’re still with us, in more ways than we know 🤍
