‼️SOS‼️ CALL FOR DONATION.

As I was biking my way to the last stop of my feeding rounds at around past noon, Kuya Guard ran towards me saying that Dilaw got ran over by a vehicle while crossing the main road early this morn. He didn't know what to do nor has my contact details as Dilaw kept meowing loudly in pain, dragging her foreleg to the ramp.

Upon seeing him, he was laying in a corner next to the garbage bins. I safely carried him, placed him below the counter of the rotisserie counter which was a tiled flooring and much cleaner. Boy he was screeching so loud as I slowly carry him, prob bec of so much pain. But the good things is that he still has great appetite, fed him w/ the paper plate right next to his head as he eats his meal laying down. Before I left, secured him inside a box at the corner most part of the Lechon Manok counter to somehow isolate him from customers and passing stray dogs.

As a background, Dilaw is one of the cats we feed in the Lechon Manok stall (see last pic/vid) since they were still kittens and when their prevoius feeder left the apt next to the stall. Together with her sister Cali and Mama Cali, we had them spayed/neutered last month.
Thank you btw to Kuya Jomel for helping take pics/video as I didn't have a phone w/ me. He is one of the crew tending the lechon manok store and he would sometimes feed the chix meat scraps to Dilaw's fam.

Just waiting for a friend with whom I can hitch a ride then will bring Dilaw to the Vet. As I am still without work at the moment, no other means of income - would appreciate any amount you can extend to help me pay for his Vet bills. Hopefully it's nothing severe so we could expect for a manageable amount.

With a heavy heart, we announce the passing of one of our foster grad – Butanding (formerly Kutingting)

One fine day, you were just chilling on the motorcycle seat of your meowmy Ashley, like you always do. But for the very first time, you took a stroll in the neighborhood, probably curious what’s it like outside. Meowmy hurriedly ran after you until you climbed up the roof and went on farther. You didn’t show up all night but Ash and her Mama did not stop looking for you, did not sleep, waiting all night. The following day you finally came back, but in very bad shape - drooling excessively, yellowish snout with foul-smelling nasal discharge, wobbly and struggling to meow, but w/o any sign of bleeding, wounds or swelling. As first aid and while waiting for a ride to rush you to the Vet, Meowmy syringe fed you with water and dextrose powder. You were still wagging your tail while she calls out your name but in a matter of seconds, your body just surrendered. I've asked to have you brought to our place so we can properly lay you to rest. While I wipe off your lifeless body before covering you w/ a garment, your nose was still leaking with fluid, it really smelled like a rotten egg!

A week has passed but we are still in disbelief, am still very heartbroken. You were so loved, spoiled and cared for like a baby since the day you got adopted. Even your Vet is ever amazed how heavy and chonky you have grown, weighing 12 kilos! You were super healthy, happy and a clingy baby! Meowmy & her Fam loved you dearly like their “bunso”.

We are very sorry baby if there wasn’t much time to save you. But know that you were loved and will be missed terribly! You were a source of strength, joy and emotional support to Dandan Family.

As you watch over your meowmy Ash, you will prob notice that she has not removed your food and water bowl from the corner of their house where you take your meals. She still fills it with your fave kibble snack and clean water. And she also kept your toys and collars. Please whisper a soft meow to them bec they still can't help but cry when they feel your presence around the house.

No more pain. No more cruel people.
Run free baby! We love you!

OREO. Once a dumpster cat, now a handsome chonky boy! With clean food, water, getting neutered and vaccinated, lots of petting and caring from compassionate hoomans, he is living a better, longer and healthier life❤.

Posting this one very late as passing of OG comm cats and dog under our care has been on a trot: Jan 22 Happy, Chubs 24th, then Momay. No room to even cope or heal💔

Momay, you were one of the old-timer comm cats of LMV, way before we started this advocacy. Most of your life has been difficult - birthing to multiple kittens regularly, always losing them due to humans or illness, scavenging trash bins for a chance to eat. Despite that, partners Pipay & Chom, myself made it a team effort to provide you a better life for the past 5 years - feeding you 2/day, had you spayed, dewormed/vax, getting you clean cardboard boxes to sleep at during summer & typhoon, letting you inside their store for siesta on top of the ice cream freezer. Even with severe dental problem + bacterial infections, you ate as if everything was ok, at times picky but we try our best to spoil you with your fave boiled chimken/pish. Til' one day, you went MIA for a month. Then you showed up again, chilling under parked cars but upon seeing Pipay and Chom, you ran to them meowing loudly. When they noticed you wobbly, filthy and emaciated, they rushed you to the Vet, confined for two days but had to be discharged. We continued to do home care for you on isolation under a heating lamp to help address your hypothermia. They even bought you a new blanket and personalized collar, manifesting that you'll still get through all this, somehow. But your body was just too weak. Still, I continued to force feed you- hoping that in some way, we can revive your vitality. After two nights of trying further, your body gave up.

You fought so hard all your life Momay, even harder ending it. We're still very heartbroken, so many what ifs in mind but we hope somehow, you felt loved and know that we've shared a common desire to give you a better, healthier and longer life. Sorry if we were too late to save you. Thank you Momay for bringing us together to fight for you, provide for you and most of all love you in the best way we know. We laid you to rest in our lot next to your fellow OGs Momoy, Chubs, Mama White, Black Mama. Run free w/ them, doing zoomies w/ wings, for heaven gained another angel.

BATMAN.
He was probably 2mos old when I first saw him while feeding her Mama Ming who ran away when we released her from the cage post Spay surgery with last Dec 10, 2022. We have not seen her since😔.
So Batman braved life on his own. Tho we've already included him in our feeding rounds, even got him spayed last year, again by Doc Gab and vax with ARV. He used to be very aloof & feisty and would run away when you attempt to pet him. I guess through the years we've established a bond and trust that he now allows me to cradle him tightly and just love him all the way😺 I've tried to get him indoors in the hope that we'll be able to foster him until ready for adoption. I actually captured him twice, but he also escaped twice😅 and would always return to his territory since birth. I guess he's meant for outdoor living like some other cats. Anyhow, he's well taken cared of and free to stay and take shelter in the garage of a neighbor who also has a heart for stray cats. (Pardon my PJs in the vid, the first thing I do when I get up late in the morn is do my feeding rounds 🤭)

Tuxedo tom cats are just so "pogi", right?!😼
