It underscores the need for responsible mountain development, acknowledging the struggles faced by mountain communities and ecosystems amid climate change, hardship, and environmental harm. The day calls for global collaboration and thoughtful practices to safeguard these essential spaces and the people who rely on them 👥.

As we journey through rainforests and sprawling grasslands climbing to greater heights, may we be reminded of the importance of our mountains and all that makes them what they are.
