March 21, Divergent LIFE, Mauban. "At the movie." Jesus took advantage of leveraging stories to teach eternal and transformative truth. Great movies could also be used to highlight biblical principles, such as the value of family, prayer, repentance, forgiveness, and reconciliation. The next generation is having fun learning. We also encourage the next generation to memorize the Scripture. Proverbs 21:5, ESV, "The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty."

Life Coach Mikko and the Mauban Core Group will not back down, coaching the next generation to be good stewards of God's money, for "the LOVE of money is the root of all evil" (1 Timothy 6:10). He adopted some of Ronald Molmisa's "M.U." such as "Magka-relasyon Unofficially," "Malabong/Magulong Usapan," "Mahirap Umasa," etc. Thanks also to our volunteers, Bros. It is important to learn how to be peacemakers, especially these days when hatred and hostility among neighbors, families, communities, and even in churches abound. Jesus wants us to love and pray for our enemies. Personal retaliation is a "no-no" policy in kingdom living. Divergent LIFE students are also encouraged to memorize the Scriptures or to hide God's Word in their hearts.

February 22, Divergent LIFE - Candelaria. Life Coach Owan led 6 Divergent LIFE students and 4 youth from Villa Macaria Christian Church to a fun game called "Balloon relay" and a team-building activity, "Simple Human Knot." The knot represents the problems, sins, and struggles in life. What seems impossible to us is possible with God. A life fully surrendered to God can experience freedom and restoration. Lenneth said, "Dapat nating bigyan ng second chance ang mga nagkasala sa ating katulad ng ginawa ng Panginoon para mapanumbalik ang ating relasyon at dapat rin nating ayusin ang mga buhol-buhol na mga problema natin, kumbaga dapat nakikinig din tayo sa payo ng iba hindi lang sa ating sarili upang tayo ay magka-isa sa ating desisyon na ginagawa o gagawin" [Give others a second chance when they offended us just as what the Lord did. As a community, we also need to learn from or listen to others for guidance and direction so we can achieve our goal together.]
