BRIDGING CLASSROOM KNOWLEDGE TO INDUSTRY INNOVATION! 💡🌐

Stepping forward into the future of technology! A student delegation from the NU Fairview - College of Engineering and Technology, headed by ASCEND (Academic Society of Computer Engineering Discipline), took part in the RELX AI Summit 2026 hosted by Reed Elsevier (RELX) at UP AyalaLand TechnoHub held last October 2, 2026!

Guided by the theme “Future Ready: Exploring AI, Careers, and the Evolving World of Work,” our Computer Engineering students gained valuable industry perspectives from tech leaders and seasoned professionals on the rapidly expanding impact of Artificial Intelligence. Beyond the insightful panel discussions on AI-driven careers, the summit featured interactive games, networking opportunities, and well-deserved recognition for our student participants!

🏆 GRAND CHAMPION OF NUVATORS 2026! 🏆

​Huge congratulations to Engr. Mary Jane F. Somao-i for bagging the championship in the first-ever NUVATORS 2026 pitch competition, held in celebration of Innovation and Sustainability Day 2026! 🎉

​Out of more than 50 entries across all NU campuses, Engr. Somao-i proudly represented NU Fairview in the Top 7 finalists and captured the championship title with her winning pitch masterpiece: “DollMeUp: The AI Tailor for Global E-commerce.” 🤖👗

​Her innovative solution directly supports key Sustainable Development Goals:
