Today, we honor the Indigenous Peoples of the Philippines. 🇵🇭

Their stories, cultures, traditions, and communities matter. Their health matters. Their future matters.

At YWAM Ships Philippines, we believe that no community should be left behind because of distance or limited access to healthcare. We go beyond borders and beyond the reach of ordinary healthcare to serve Indigenous communities and geographically isolated areas across the Philippines.

Through medical and dental missions, we bring compassionate healthcare, essential services, and hope to communities that are often underserved.

Because every person matters. Every community matters. And every life is worth reaching.

This is why we GO bringing hope to the isolated islands of the Philippines.

We are grateful for the opportunity to partner once again with Greenhills Christian Fellowship (GCF) Compassion Ministry for our upcoming Medical and Dental Mission Outreach in Sorsogon and Magallanes.

Through this partnership, we will bring compassionate healthcare, practical assistance, and hope to communities in geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas. Together, we are committed to serving with excellence and sharing God's love through meaningful action.

Thank you, GCF Compassion Ministry, for standing with us in this mission. Together, we can make a lasting impact.

All glory to God.

Preparation week is in full swing!

Our staff are busy repacking supplies, organizing medicines, and handling logistics as we get ready for our upcoming Medical and Dental Mission. Every task, big or small, helps us prepare to serve communities with compassion and care.

Please keep our team and the communities we'll be visiting in your prayers.

YWAM Ships Philippines was honored to be featured on the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) Radio Program through the Media & Civil Affairs Group. We extend our sincere appreciation to Kasy Punzalan and Quinn Denmark Braga for the opportunity to share our mission and the work we do in partnership with communities across the Philippines.

The interview highlighted YWAM Ships Philippines' commitment to delivering medical and dental missions, community development initiatives, and humanitarian assistance to Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs). It also emphasized the importance of collaboration among government agencies, local government units, the private sector, and faith-based organizations in creating lasting impact for underserved communities.

We are grateful to the Armed Forces of the Philippines for providing a platform to raise awareness of this shared mission. Together, through meaningful partnerships and collective action, we can continue improving lives and bringing hope to communities throughout the nation.

She came seeking relief. She left knowing she was seen.

In the remote community of Talaingod, Davao del Norte, access to medical and dental care remains a challenge for many families, especially the elderly. For this grandmother, the journey to the covered court where our Medical and Dental Mission was held was filled with hope that someone could finally help ease the pain she had quietly carried.

She was not alone. Alongside her, hundreds of Indigenous men, women, and children gathered from surrounding communities, each carrying their own stories, struggles, and hopes. Many had waited a long time for the opportunity to receive the healthcare they needed, making this outreach a vital source of care and encouragement.

Behind every face is a story of resilience. Years of hard work, sacrifice, and unwavering love for family have left their mark, yet their spirit remains strong. Through our Medical and Dental Mission, they received compassionate healthcare and experienced the love of Christ through the hands of volunteers who came to serve.

At YWAM Ships Philippines, we believe that every person deserves access to quality healthcare, no matter how remote their community may be. Every patient reminds us why we continue this mission to bring healing, restore dignity, and share the hope of Jesus with those who are often beyond the reach of regular healthcare services.

This is more than a medical mission. It is a reminder that no one is forgotten.
Bringing Hope to the Isolated Communities of the Philippines.
Serving with compassion. Sharing the love of Christ. Transforming lives one community at a time.

“You come to a point,” says Dr. Jornal Rivera, “where you look at that person and realize there’s nothing more you can do for them… and that’s usually when God shows up.”

YWAM Ships Philippines started a humanitarian work that has grown into an unusual alliance between Church, State and just ordinary Filipinos determined to reach their own people with practical care and hope.

Sometimes, in tiny village clinics far from modern hospitals, they witness things they still struggle to explain.

For over two decades, Circumcising Children for Christ has faithfully served children and families with compassion, excellence, and the love of Jesus.

We are deeply grateful for their continued partnership with us during our Medical and Dental Missions. Together, we've had the privilege of reaching underserved communities by providing free circumcision services, promoting healthy living, and sharing the hope found in Christ.

Every child served is more than a number they are deeply loved, uniquely created by God, and worthy of care. Every volunteer, every prayer, and every act of generosity helps make this mission possible.

Thank you, Circumcising Children for Christ, for walking alongside us in bringing healing, hope, and the love of Christ to communities across the Philippines. We look forward to serving together for many years to come.

"Whatever you do for the least of these, you do for Christ."

Thousands of Philippine islands remain beyond the reach of regular healthcare, but no community is beyond the reach of God’s love.

Together with the Philippine Coast Guard, local governments, churches, medical professionals, and volunteers, YWAM Ships PH is bringing hope to some of the nation’s most isolated people—one island, one family, one life at a time.

Isolation is a relative thing when you are experiencing loneliness.
Whether you’re talking about far flung islands in South East Asia, or the quiet lady who lives just a few doors down from you… each and every one of us has the unique privilege of reaching beyond our comfort zone to become mini-miracle workers in sharing God’s love to the world.

Medicine has limits. God does not.

When Dr. Jornel Rivera - a volunteer with YWAM Ships PH - examined a woman with advanced thyroid cancer last year, he believed there was little more medicine could offer.

The nearest cancer ward was too far away to be reached. What could anyone do but pray?

But pray they did, and in doing so witnessed something they still struggle to explain—the visible tumor began to shrink beneath the hands of the good doctor.

Miracles aren’t something we manufacture. They’re something we faithfully make room for as we serve with compassion, pray with expectancy, and trust God to do what only He can do.

We go prepared to serve, yet we also go expecting God to move.
Miracles do still happen. Believe it.
