As we lost another angel today, TikTok the rescued dog, who had once been a victim of cruelty.

The Street PAWtection is deeply grateful to the people and organizations who extended their help to TikTok during her journey of recovery. Those who gave her love, comfort, and the chance to regain her trust in humans.

But we, at The Street PAWtection, strongly condemn any form of neglect. This is not an isolated case. This tragedy could have been prevented if proper care, guidance, and strict responsibility for her safety and well-being had been observed.

We demand a thorough and transparent investigation into the circumstances of TikTok’s death, BACH Project PH.

We demand accountability from those entrusted with her care, and stronger measures to ensure that no other rescued animal suffers the same fate.

TikTok’s life mattered, and we will not let her story be forgotten.

HABAGAT RESPONSE: Tulong para sa mga Strays

Una sa lahat, maraming salamat sa mga sponsors at sa lahat ng tumulong sa activity ngayong araw.

Kahit maulan, mahangin, at medyo naging challenge hanapin ang mga stray sa kahabaan ng Commonwealth Avenue, hindi tayo umatras. Tuloy pa rin, para sa mga hayop na kailangang matulungan.

Hindi man ganoon karami ang nakita natin sa field, alam nating mahalaga pa rin ang presensya at naging kontribusyon natin sa kanila. Muli, maraming salamat sa bawat isa na sumuporta adbokasiya namin sa The Street PAWtection.

KASONG KRIMINAL, PORMAL NANG ISINAMPA!

Hindi kami tumigil. Matapos ang masusing konsultasyon sa mga abogado at animal welfare advocates, bukod sa pagsasampa ng ka*ong administratibo ay pormal na ring naisampa ang ka*ong kriminal sa Quezon City Prosecutor’s Office laban sa Barangay Animal Control Officer (BACO) ng Brgy. Batasan Hills na siyang responsable sa matinding kapabayaan at paglabag sa karapatang pang-hayop.

Panagutin ang mga nagpabaya, ang may tungkulin, at ang mga nanumpa sa serbisyo publiko ngunit bigong kumilos nang may malasakit at pananagutan.
