RC TIMOG “NEW MEMBERS’ ORIENTATION”

The Rotary Club of Timog remains committed to guiding its new members as they begin their Rotary journey.

A sincere thank you to our distinguished guests—Past District Governors Florian Enriquez (RC Midtown Quezon City), Milo Lucenario (RC Balintawak), and Francis Rivera (RC Timog)—for making our New Members' Orientation Night truly memorable and inspiring.

Thank you for sharing your personal Rotary journeys, from your early beginnings and navigating challenges to why you choose to stay dedicated to Rotary today. Your insights offered immense value and inspiration to every member present!

Project Hope & Care (August 22, 2026) is an international service partnership between the Rotary Club of Timog and its sister club, the Rotary Club of Daejeon Jeil (District 3680, South Korea). The project delivers financial and emotional support to pediatric cancer patients staying at ChildHaus while undergoing medical treatment in Metro Manila. RC Daejeon Jeil contributed a USD 1,000 grant directly to ChildHaus to support operational expenses, medical subsidies, and temporary lodging for young provincial patients. To complement the monetary grant, RC Timog provided therapeutic squeeze toys for the children and their parents, offering anxiety reduction and stress management during medical procedures. Combining financial assistance with emotional care strengthens ChildHaus’s capacity to shelter provincial families while uplifting the mental well-being of young patients.

Project Lingap ChildHaus (August 10, 2026) is a joint community service initiative by the Rotary Club of Timog in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Ayala Greenfields. The project provides vital relief to vulnerable child patients temporarily residing at ChildHaus, a compassionate shelter for children from across the Philippines undergoing specialized treatments in Metro Manila for cancer and other serious illnesses. The partner Rotary clubs supplied essential hygiene kits—focusing on bath soaps and sanitation items—to help immunocompromised children maintain personal hygiene and prevent secondary infections during treatment. The project also distributed wholesome, safe snacks to offer nutritional comfort between medical sessions and ease the emotional strain of long-term temporary lodging.
