💭How do you respond when people ask you what you do? Is your response task-oriented, vision-focused, or people-oriented? God’s vision is to establish His kingdom, accomplishing tasks through servant leaders that involve and influence people. Whatever you do, whatever your role, servant leadership is the way you inject eternal significance into your daily activities and relationships. What do you do?

📖For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building. By the grace God has given me, I laid a foundation as a wise builder, and someone else is building on it. But each one should build with care.—1 Corinthians 3:9-10

🙏Prayer: Lord, help me to remember that I am Your co-worker, enlisted into Your service, for Your purposes, according to Your plan. Thank You for giving me a role to play in what You are doing in the world. Remind me that what I do and how I do it matters to You and to others. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

The events of Jesus' passion—betrayal, condemnation, abandonment, suffering, death—remind us that God's love for us knows no bounds. Jesus willingly sacrificed Himself for us. At the foot of the cross, there were no sermons being preached; there was nothing left to be said. There was only heartbreak, that of a grieving Father and grieving disciples, as God's Son was sacrificed. On what has come to be known as Good Friday, we take our place at the foot of the cross, looking at our suffering Savior, bleeding and dying for the sinful world..

"You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us."—Romans 5:6-8
