Science Through Tales is a Big Book competition where all Grade 11 sections are required to design and produce a Big Book that simplifies and illustrates scientific concepts for young children. The activity culminates in a storytelling session where the students present their books to primary schoolers, making science fun, engaging, and age-appropriate! ๐คฉ

๐ Size and Format: Minimum of 15โ x 20โ (1/4 illustration board size) or larger; must be durable using materials such as illustration board or cardboard
๐ Content: The story must focus on a scientific concept (e.g., water cycle, solar system, animals, states of matter). It should be accurate but simplified for preschool understanding. Values like curiosity, care for the environment, or teamwork are encouraged.
๐จ Language, Illustrations and Design: Use short, clear, and age-appropriate words. Introduce simple scientific terms and explain them through context or visuals. Illustrations must be colorful, bold, and attractive, with clear and large text. Pages should balance text and visuals
โ ๏ธ Important: Each section must submit ๐จ๐ง๐ (๐) ๐จ๐๐๐ข๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ, which will be credited toward their General Science and Life & Career Skills classes.
