🌟 Empowering Communities Through Financial Literacy and Business Opportunities 🌟

Thank you, JCI Quezon City Luna, for giving us the opportunity to make an impact through a talk on the Legal Recourse for CSG's Loan Dispute Resolution: Guidance on addressing financial conflicts conducted by Atty. Katherine Mae Añonuevo.

On August 6, 2024, JCI Quezon City Luna, in partnership with the Quezon City Small Business and Cooperatives Development and Promotions Office, hosted the 2024 Capacity Building for Quezon City Community Savings Groups (CSGs) at The Hive Hotel & Convention Place.

This impactful program aimed to equip CSG members with essential skills to improve their financial literacy, resolve loan disputes, and explore new business opportunities.

📝 Program Highlights:

Accounting for Non-Accountants: Empowering participants with financial management skills.
Legal Recourse for CSG's Loan Dispute Resolution: Guidance on addressing financial conflicts.
Starting an Enterprise/Business Opportunities for CSGs: Introducing potential business ventures to inspire growth.
This initiative sought to strengthen the economic capacity of local CSGs, providing tools to expand their businesses and contribute to Quezon City’s thriving economy.

🌊 Bringing Joy and Hope to Typhoon-Stricken Communities in Calamba, Laguna 💙

Over the past months, many areas in our country have faced immense challenges due to typhoons Carina and Kristine, which left devastation in their wake. Among those affected are some barangays in Calamba, Laguna, where flooding continues to impact livelihoods—especially for the hardworking pool agents who have played a vital role in boosting the city’s tourism and supporting local businesses.

In recognition of their resilience and contributions, JCI Quezon City Celebrity will be conducting a heartfelt outreach project to bring joy and hope to these communities. Through gift-giving and a partnership with Punta Verde Resort, we not only extended immediate relief but also provided an opportunity for these pool agents to become part of the resort’s network, offering them an additional source of income and a fresh start.

This initiative is our small way of giving back to the people of Calamba, honoring their hard work and helping them rebuild their lives.

🌟 Thank You for an Inspiring Collaboration! 🌟

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to My Guardian: Caring for You and Asia Impact Foundation Inc. and JCI Caloocan Bantayog, for giving us the opportunity to collaborate in the meaningful project: Quezon City Hand in Hand: Lighting Hope, Uplifting Lives, held last November 3, 2024.

This incredible initiative was made even more impactful through collaboration of JCI Quezon City Capitol, and JCI Quezon City Luna. Together, we reached out to various beneficiaries and brought light and hope to their lives.

Children Outreach activities

🏠 Barangay Commonwealth – Fixing roofs and participating in cooking activities.
✨ We were able to donate groceries, school supplies, and toys, bringing smiles to children and uplifting the spirits of families and individuals in need.

🐾 Caring for Our Furry Friends: JCI Quezon City Celebrity x PAWS Animal Welfare Project 🐾

In the spirit of compassion and service, JCI Quezon City Celebrity, in partnership with the Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) and proudly sponsored by Añonuevo Credit and Collection Services Inc. (ACCSI) and Añonuevo Law, conducted a meaningful project to support rescued animals affected by the recent typhoons.

Together, we:
🐕 Donated much-needed food for the rescued animals, ensuring they are nourished and cared for.
🧹 Carried out a clean-up operation to help restore and maintain the rehabilitation center, creating a safe and healthy environment for the animals.

This project reflects our commitment not only to community service but also to the welfare of all living beings, reminding us that every small act of kindness makes a big difference.

🎉 Spreading Joy and Hope: JCI Quezon City Celebrity x Kythe Foundation Project 💛

In partnership with Kythe Foundation Inc., JCI Quezon City Celebrity joined hands with JCI Makati and our partners, Añonuevo Credit and Collection Services Inc. and Añonuevo Law, to bring smiles and hope to children with cancer and other chronic illnesses.

This meaningful project was made even more special as it celebrated the birthday of Maybelle Kate, who graciously shared her special day to brighten the lives of these brave young fighters. Her generosity reminds us all of the power of compassion and the joy of giving. 🎂💖

Together, we delivered not just gifts but also a message of strength, love, and hope to these amazing kids. Thank you to the AVP Patrick Maglinao, Pres. JM Moyaen and to everyone who made this day unforgettable for the children of Kythe Foundation!
