Heartbreak in our 🐾
We saw this months ago—healthy, plump, with a fluffy tail and chubby cheeks. Like many, we assumed he had an owner who simply let him roam, because truth be told… we know there are homeowners here who let their pets wander, thinking it’s okay since there are people who feed the strays and orphans.
But look at him now. 😢 His tail is no longer fluffy, his face no longer bright. He looks sick, neglected. Before, he wouldn’t even come near me. Today, he looked at me with eyes that seemed to say: “I’m hungry. My owner hasn’t fed me.”
Good thing I had a sachet of cat food with me. For the first time, he came close and ate.
😮💨 Utang na loob—if you can’t keep your cats indoors, then don’t keep a cat at all. If someone offers you a cat and you know you won’t care for it like your own baby, decline it.
We’ve seen too many neglected pets here. At first, they look beautiful and well, but months later, you see them deteriorate… until one day they disappear. And every true cat lover knows what that means: when a sick cat goes missing, it usually means they’ve crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈
Wag na kayo magpusa kung hindi niyo rin sila kayang alagaan nang maayos... 🤬😢😮💨
