Another batch of LGU Leaders/Officials, City Councils, Department Heads/Managers, Brgy Captains and Counselors participated the training on "Good Governance in Building a Safer, Violence Free and Resilient Environment" through the Whole of Sectors Strategy.

The Government of Tanauan strongly supports and advocates the zero violence/criminality in the whole city and wants all forms of violence transforms to peace building and citywide development.

Mr Ricky Bunao, Executive Director from House of Refuge Foundation and former DSWD OIC-Assistant Regional Director and Social Welfare Officer served as the Learning Service Provider for the conduct of 3-day training. He stressed that groups of Men and other sectors from different offices/organizations if involved and participate in the city vision of "Zero Violence" can help prevent and stop criminality. If they are engaged in the education and campaign can make the city transform to a more safer, progressive and developed city.

Furthermore, the workaholic City Mayor Sonny Perez Collantes called for a united action towards ending all forms of violence and encouraged all men and other sectors to join the MOVE advocacies. He further emphasized that in Tanauan City, they move as ONE, Walang Maiiwanan". (Tanauan City, Batangas)

𝐀𝐓𝐌: Women's Summit, a culminating activity of the National Observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women

The 2025 Women’s Summit serves as the culminating activity of the National Observance of the 18-Day Campaign to End Violence Against Women (VAW), gathering members of the Pasig City Local Council of Women, Barangay VAW Desk Officers, Kagawad on Women and Family Affairs and Gender and Development, and various civil society organizations in the city.

Mayor Vico Sotto expresses his full support to end VAW, highlighting the City Government’s strong commitment to advancing gender equality and women’s participation in all areas of governance.

With the theme “Accelerating Women’s Economic Empowerment towards a Fair, Safe, and VAW-Free City of Pasig,” the summit underscores the city’s unified efforts to strengthen support systems, expand economic opportunities for women, and build safer, more inclusive communities for all Pasigueños.
