Some moments remind us why we serve.
During our gift-giving activity in Barangay Comembo, Taguig — held right after our river clean-up drive — a resident suddenly collapsed. Without hesitation, Past President Miguel Dela Fuente stepped forward, joining the Barangay Responders to provide urgent assistance.
In that instant, service became more than a project — it became humanity in action.
No cameras, no speeches, just a Rotarian doing what Rotarians do best: showing up when it matters the most.
This is the heart of Rotary.
Serving with compassion. Protecting lives. Saving lives. Bringing hope in unexpected moments.
Because true service doesn’t follow a schedule — it follows a calling.
Rotary isn’t just an organization. It’s a promise.

Pateros-Taguig River Clean-up at Brgy. Comembo, Taguig City

On November 25, 2025, the Rotary Club of Cubao South once again lived out its commitment to protecting the environment through a meaningful River Clean-up Drive at the Pateros–Taguig River. Members worked hand in hand to restore the river’s natural beauty, showing that even small actions can create ripples of change for our communities and future generations.

Following the clean-up, the club extended its service with compassion. Through the generosity of Past President Tony Cuenca, 60 packs of groceries were distributed to the indigent residents of Comembo, Taguig City. Smiles, gratitude, and warm conversations filled the area as families received the assistance, reminding us that kindness has the power to uplift lives.

This initiative was made possible with the support of Barangay Captain Edgardo Cleofas and Kagawad Jonav Navalta, whose cooperation helped ensure the activity’s success.

Together, we continue to serve, protect, and care with hearts committed to making a difference.

RC Cubao South joined District 3780’s Induction at Okada Manila and donated to End Polio through TRF

On June 28, 2025, the Rotary Club of Cubao South proudly participated in the District Induction of Rotary International District 3780 held at Okada Manila. The event gathered Rotarians, leaders, and guests from across the district to celebrate new leadership and reaffirm Rotary’s mission of service and global impact. As part of its continuing commitment to Rotary’s flagship cause, six dedicated members of RC Cubao South each donated $100 to The Rotary Foundation’s End Polio Fund. This contribution supports Rotary International’s global campaign to eradicate polio, helping protect children and communities worldwide. The event also strengthened fellowship among Rotarians and reinforced the club’s dedication to humanitarian service.
