Inihahanda na ang mga imahen nina San Lorenzo Ruiz at San Pedro Calungsod, mga modelong martir na nag-alay ng buhay para sa Diyos at Bayan. Iginagayak na rin ang mga mirasol, at gaya ng mga bulaklak na ito, nawa'y tingalain din natin ang liwanag ng dalawang Pilipinong santong ito na huwaran ng kabanalan at paglilingkod sa bayan.

Pasasalamat (Corpus Christi), with text by National Artist Virgilio Almario and music by Victor Gregory Cahapay, was written for the 2025 Baccalaureate Mass of the University of the Philippines as a Communion Hymn. Thanks to the help of Dr. Maria Crisanta Flores, Virgilio Almario graciously accepted the invitation of the Catholic Students Community to write a poem in Filipino in honor of the titular of the UP Parish, the Corpus Christi, or the Body of Christ.

It is a thanksgiving to God from all the graduating students. The song is perfectly in line with the theology behind the Parish of the Holy Sacrifice's architecture: that the Holy Eucharist is the source and summit of Christian life, from which all graces flow and to which all thanksgiving returns. It has a very somber and sweet melody, but at the same time, pleads for the mercy of God.

The Kordero ng Diyos of Missa Oblationes was one of the last pieces of the Mass setting to be written. The orchestration was finished on July 1, 2025, only 4 days before the actual Baccalaureate Mass that year, July 5, 2025. The delay in its completion stemmed from a lack of inspiration and multiple scrapped drafts. This composition is antiphonal, with a soloist singing the initial “Kordero ng Diyos na nag-aalis ng mga kasalanan ng sanlibutan” with the choir responding “Maawa Ka sa amin” and “Ipagkaloob Mo sa amin ang kapayapaan”. The solo lines have been written with the countertenor Andrey Sto. Domingo in mind, and once that had been decided, the piece was completed with his timbre and range in mind.

Despite being liturgical, it has turned heads due to the countertenor singing a high Bb in the third reiteration of the “Kordero ng Diyos”. The leap on “Mga Kasalanan” was intentional, using the music to describe the magnitude of the sins of the world, yet the answer of the choir in “Ipagkaloob Mo sa amin ang kapayapaan” shows the tender mercy of God.

Isang Puso at Isang Kaluluwa was originally made for Purihi't Paslaamatan, JesCom's song writing contest in 2025, whose theme at the time centered around the social teachings of the Church. The hymn's text features a multitude of topics, most importantly being there for the last, the lost, and the least, as well as being a “Pahinungod”, an offering, or more adequately an Oblation–to offer oneself for God, Country, and their brothers and sisters. It draws inspiration from dozens of Filipino religious poetry, as to reflect that it comes from a long line of tradition, but also looks forward to the future.

An interesting aspect of this piece (as well as Missa Oblationes, the Mass setting for UPD's Baccalaureate Mass) is that it uses themes from the University Hymn, “UP Naming Mahal”.
