Ngayong ikadalawampu't isa ng Setyembre taong 2026, ikalimampuโ€™t apat na taon na ang lumipas mula nang ideklara ang Batas Militar sa Pilipinas noong 1972, at pagdiriwang ng Pambansang Araw ng Protesta. Ang anibersaryong ito ay panawagan upang gunitain ang panahong tumindig ang mga Pilipino para sa pagbabago at pagtatanggol sa kanilang mga karapatan. Mahalaga ang araw na ito upang patuloy nating alalahanin ang isang mahalagang yugto sa kasaysayan ng ating bansa.

Ang pakikibaka para sa karapatan ay hindi lamang tinig na umaalingawngawโ€”ito ay tinig na tumitindig at lumalaban para sa mga karapatang dapat igalang at ipagtanggol.

Bilang mga Pilipino, alamin natin ang kasaysayan mula sa mapagkakatiwalaang sanggunian, pakinggan ang mga kuwento ng mga nakaligtas at mga biktima, labanan ang maling impormasyon, magsalita para sa karapatang pantao, at pangalagaan ang mga kalayaang ipinaglaban at ipinasa sa atin ng mga naunang henerasyon.
