Nakilahok ang REACT 4 groups sa Rizal Alay Lakad ngayong 2024 sa pamamgitan ng Emergency Radio Communications, Monitoring, at pagbibigay ng Libreng Tubig at Candies sa mga namamanata. Maraming salamat sa lahat ng 41s, Group Chiefs, at Region Officers na nakilahok at sumuporta.

Nasakatuparan na ang Solar Street Lights sa tulong ng REACT Philippines -REACT 4 Region at 7th CRG CRS AFP sa Sitio Bakal, Barangay Bagong Silangan, Quezon City. Mas magiging ligtas na ang mga residente sa Sitio Bakal dahil sa naturang Solar Street lights.

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) and the Regional Emergency Assistance Communications Team (REACT) Philippines, Inc. signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) today to solidify their collaboration in humanitarian responses and intensify the former’s communication capacity in times of emergencies and crisis.

PRC Secretary-General Dr. Gwen Pang signed the MOA with REACT National President, Mr. Henry Bicoy, and REACT Regional Chief, Dr. Antonio Agustin, at PRC’s National Headquarters in Mandaluyong.

The MOA ensures that the PRC can call on and mobilize REACT’s first aiders, medical personnel, engineers, search and rescue teams, and radio operators, among others, during emergency and disaster operations. REACT also pledged to utilize its communication resources to help PRC fortify its communication capacity and support PRC’s service delivery programs and humanitarian campaigns, such as blood donation drives and RC143 volunteering program.

PRC Chairman and CEO, Richard Dick Gordon, expressed his gratitude to REACT, saying, “We are looking for organizations, agencies, and individuals that can work with us in alleviating the sufferings of the most vulnerable Filipinos and REACT is definitely one of them. We stand ready to provide training to your first responders.”

Dr. Gwen Pang, in her speech, reiterated the importance of the partnership and its crucial role in supporting PRC’s operations: “In situations where internet and communication networks are unreliable, we use radios to communicate. This partnership with REACT is vital in the communication aspect of our humanitarian operations, especially those in geographically-isolated areas where there is limited network coverage.”

REACT is the largest Radio Civic Organization in the country, and it first started its partnership with the PRC in 2008. PRC Assistant Secretary General for Corporate and Business Services, Mr. Ramon Murillo, and PRC Disaster Management Services Manager, Ms. Criselda Longga, were also present in the MOA signing ceremony.

Christmas na Birthday pa! REACT CRS AFP Sinagtala Group - Outreach Activity at Bahay Kalinga and Lingap ng Kabataan Center at Barangay Inarawan, Antipolo City. Our very own REACT Sinagtala Group Jr Xavier celebrated his birthday with the kids in the center. There were Food, Fun Games, Gift Giving and Supplies.

Tulong sa Nasunugan! REACT SINAGTALA Group together with their partner Organization HCEC Rizal Chapter held an Outreach Activity for the Fire Victims in Barangay Tagpos, Binangonan Rizal. The activity was held at Tagpos Elementary school. There were 373 beneficiaries with around 80 kids. Aside from the distribution, there were games and raffle for our beneficiaries. It was a fun and blessed day for everyone!

Distributed Cool bed mats with Cool pillow mats, food packs, clothes, shoes, hygiene kits, snacks, toys, and plastic ware, and raffle of electric fan.

REACT 4 Region sinuportahan ang Media and Civil Affairs Group (MCAG) and Civil-Military Operations (CMOS) under Civil Relations Service, Armed Forces of the Philippines spearheaded a gift giving activity at Nayon ng Kabataan, Welfareville Compound, Mandaluyong City on December 6, 2023.

According to AFP Radio DWDD,
170 children whose age ranges from seven (7) to eighteen (18) years old benefitted and received shoes, toys and other treats.

Batch 2015 of Philippine Military Academy, Philippine National Police Academy, Philippine Merchant Marine Academy and REACT Philippines Inc. also joined the said activity.

Furthermore, fun and exciting games were also played during the event, which then resulted to a delightful and a happy environment.

With a joyful heart, Mrs. Norma Marcelino, Social Welfare Officer III of Department of Social Welfare and Development and Mrs. Helen Pereyra, SO4 NK Officer-in-charge head said, “No words can express how much we are thankful for the service and contribution given to us. This is an early Christmas gift for the children. In behalf of our personnel and kids, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you very much. You are truly the messenger of peace and development.”

The activity is part of the unit’s Christmas pre-celebration and unit’s mission that aims to conduct limited Civil Affairs activities dubbed as “Journey of Genuine Love.”

"The team MCAG and CMOS are very grateful for the opportunity to be used as an instrument to give joy and assistance to the children. This extension of celebration through gift-giving is beyond admirable.,” MCAG Group Commander Major Cenon C Pancito III PA said.

NK is a 24-hour residential care facility under DSWD which serves as a temporary shelter and provides psycho-social care and interventions, and protection to children who are abandoned, neglected and orphaned, street children Child - Victims of Abuse and Other Circumstances.
