The Rotary Club of Quirino, Quezon City: Primed Up for its 4th Decade of Service and Fellowship Chartered in April 28, 1991, the Rotary Club of Quirino, QC (RCQQC) of Rotary International District 3780 has had a very meaningful journey of service and fellowship.
Organized by the Rotary Club of Cubao South, with the stewardship of PP Joshua Go and its President, the late PP Antonio Paredes and the able leadership of then District Governor JL Pete Morales, the Rotary Club of Quirino, QC was initially composed of 31 prominent personalities in a Quezon City public housing community. The charter presentation was highlighted by the presence of then Philippine Vice President Joseph Estrada who eventually became President. All through its almost 28 years of existence, RCQQC has made its mark as one of the leading clubs in RI District 3780 in terms of recognition, service to community and youth, fellowship and sports activities. It has produced District leaders from among its ranks who have served the district as Assistant Governors and Committee Chairpersons. RCQQC has been recognized several times as one of the ten (10) most outstanding Rotary Clubs of District 3780 because of its exemplary achievements in most aspects of Rotary work. Seven of its Presidents have also been recognized as Outstanding Club Presidents during their respective year of service. Among its outstanding service projects are the following:
