The combined effects of the Habagat (southwest monsoon), Bagyong , , and , among other weather disturbances, have caused devastating floods to various regions in the country, including Northern Luzon, during the past few days.

For the past week, the tricyclone has devastated Luzon. Notably, Typhoon Emong made its second landfall on Ilocos Sur. Consequently, the Province of La Union and some towns in Pangasinan were hit hard by the typhoon, placing them under a State of Calamity.

As part of UP Namnama’s Sagot Namnama initiative, we humbly appeal for monetary assistance for affected residents of the Ilocos Region. We will be grateful for any amount you can spare for our kakailian.
