#𝗚𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗣𝗦𝗖 | UPDATE ON REQUEST FOR RECONSIDERATION OF THE USE OF REGULAR UNIFORM

Upon the release of the PSHS Memorandum No. 38, s. 2026, the Student Council (SC) formally submitted a letter and data report last July 26, summarizing student feedback regarding the aforementioned memo, which mandated the wearing of the Regular Uniform and attendance at flag ceremonies.

After amendments, the letter requested the enforcement of the use of the Dengue Uniform during all academic days to reduce the risks of dengue and other seasonal infections, to provide more comfort and mobility for students both within and outside campus grounds, and to minimize potential wardrobe malfunctions, such as flying skirts or damaged leather shoes.

The SC will continue to coordinate with the Management Committee regarding the approval of this request.

Pisay, pakinggan mo lang ako… Pupunta si Reyns Britanico sa Miyerkules! 💨🕜

Reyns Britanico is the current Punong Babaylan of UP Babaylan, the first and longest-running LGBTQIA+ student organization in the Philippines and Asia.

He also serves as the Head of UP Pride 2025, the University of the Philippines' annual, system-wide Pride celebration for the LGBTQIA+ community and its allies. He is an incoming junior in the BA Comparative Literature program at the University of the Philippines Diliman.

His research focuses on gender, sexuality, q***r literature, and q***r studies. creative writing explores q***r desire and q***r subjectivities.

Mr. Frank Araneta has been known for his work with the Student Council Alliance of the Philippines and PUP Sentral na Konseho ng Mag-aaral (SKM). Still, there's more to know about him and his work!

Most profoundly, Mr. Frank Araneta has been working as the Director for SOGIE Policy and Advocacy Committee of the Philippine Anti-Discrimination Alliance of Youth Leaders (PANTAY). He is also an alumnus of PANTAY's Progressive Officials Working for Equality and Rights (POWER).

Join us as Mr. Frank Araneta shares his stories and experiences with q***r love and human rights advocacy at Iskulay 2026 this Wednesday!

The Club Fair is just around the corner, and your next journey awaits! Wander through booths this Wednesday, July 29, and meet the communities that could become your home this school year.

☀️ AYP (Batches 2029 & 2030): 7:30–9:00 AM
🌸 FYP (Batches 2031 & 2032): 9:00–10:30 AM

Each session will run for 90 minutes, giving everyone 45 minutes to explore each venue before switching.

Before the event, make sure to check your assigned starting venue. Don’t forget to pick up your bingo card at SC Booth A when you arrive and submit it at SC Booth B after you’ve visited both venues.
