IS THE MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SEAL FOR SALE? 🛑⚙️

​The PSME Foundation, Inc. says: ABSOLUTELY NOT.

​We are officially endorsing and standing behind the PMEToday Open Letter. The recent ₱30-million BFP kickback scandal is a final warning. We cannot allow our profession to be dragged down by a system that prioritizes "commissions" over "combustion safety."
​ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.

For too long, Mechanical Engineers have been "held hostage" by:

❌ Favored Contractor Schemes: Being forced to use a BFP-recommended installer just to get a permit.

❌ Intentional Delays: FSEC and FSIC applications sitting on desks for weeks to "negotiate" an SOP.

❌ Conflict of Interest: Inspectors acting like salesmen for fire extinguishers and equipment.

​WE ARE DEMANDING ACTION:

1️⃣ Senate & Congressional Inquiry: Investigate the FSEC/FSIC "paperwork-to-paycheck" pipeline.

2️⃣ The 7-Day Rule: Enforce RA 11032 (EODB). If the BFP doesn't act in 7 days, it should be AUTOMATICALLY APPROVED.

3️⃣ Zero-Contact Filing: Move all evaluations to a digital portal (eBOSS). No more face-to-face "negotiations."
