For decades, the fight for divorce in the Philippines was a lonely struggle met with loud resistance. We saw our Nanays, Aunties, and Ates sacrifice their own happiness, staying silent in painful or abusive marriages because society told them a "good woman" simply endures. We see the years of quiet suffering you went through, and we want you to know that
Today, the conversation is evolving as Gen Y and Gen Z find their voices. As the youth, we are lobbying for the
because we refuse to let another generation inherit a cycle of trauma. We believe in protecting dignity and safety by ensuring no one is forced to stay where respect and peace have vanished. We are fighting for progressive rights and legal options to escape abusive bonds because we want to prioritize a healthier future and the mental well-being of families over simply "saving face." ๐
This movement isn't about breaking families; it is about To the women who held it all together even when their hearts were breaking โ we are here now, we hear you, and we are fighting for the choices you were never given.
