| CAT OFFICER CANDIDATES’ TRAINING 🫡🇵🇭
The journey continues—not only to train CAT officers, but to shape who they are becoming along the way.
For another week of training, our CAT Officer Candidates are being challenged to look beyond the uniform, rank, and responsibilities of an officer and ask a deeper question:
“Who am I becoming as I go through this journey?”
This week’s training focuses on character, discipline, responsibility, leadership, and service—helping our candidates understand that becoming an officer is not simply about learning how to lead others, but also about learning how to lead themselves.
Through reflection, discussions, activities, and shared experiences, they are encouraged to recognize that every decision, attitude, response, and action contributes to the kind of leader they are becoming.
Sharing his experience and insights with our candidates is none other than our former Corps Commander, Batch Sinaglahi 2023–2024, Airon Ponghon, who shared valuable lessons from his own journey and experience as a CAT officer.
His experience reminds our candidates that leadership is learned not only through training, but also through challenges, mistakes, responsibilities, and the willingness to continue growing.
As they continue this journey, may our CAT Officer Candidates learn that the goal is not merely to become an officer, but to become a person worthy of the responsibility entrusted to an officer.
