The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA)
Palawan Regional Office together with the Association of Youth OWWA Scholars (AYOS) - Palawan Chapter Officers successfully conducted a Families Left Behind Program especially for youth on October 4, 2025, in Barangay San Miguel, Puerto Princesa City.
Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) childs and some of their relatives attended the event, held at the Barangay Hall of San Miguel.
It provided the participants an information sharing about the life experiences of being a child of an OFW and the sacrifices of our parents, which was led by Ms. ๐๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐. ๐๐๐ง๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ง, the OWWA Palawan Officer and followed by Ms. ๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ญ๐ ๐. ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐๐ฅ, the President of AYOS- Palawan Chapter. The discussion highlighted the challenges and love shown by parents working abroad and how their sacrifices inspire their children to work hard and value family even more.
