When the ground shook on June 8, 60 families in Purok Mabuhay, Sitio Nanga, Barangay Batulaki, Glan, Sarangani lost everything in an instant. No walls. No roof. No certainty of tomorrow. But what they didn't lose was us.
Cans of goods, sacks of rice, medicines, hygiene kits, blankets, clothes, and so much more poured in. But more than the donations, it was the people behind them that got us. The ones who drove out of their way to drop things off. The ones who shared the post at midnight. The ones who gave even when they didn't have much to give themselves. And behind every item was a person who chose kindness over comfort. That person was you.
These photos are proof that hope is not just a feeling. It is something you can pack, carry, and hand to someone who needs it most. ๐ฟ
