Young Bayuganons joined fellow Agsurnon youth in DUYOG 2026 โ€“ Provincial Linggo ng Kabataan on September 10, 2026, at the D.O. Plaza Sports Complex Covered Court in Patin-ay, Prosperidad, highlighting the important role of the youth in shaping the future of the province.

Organized by the Provincial Sangguniang Kabataan Federation in partnership with the AgSur Youth Development Council (AYDC), the gathering brought together young people from across Agusan del Sur for a day of learning, dialogue, and meaningful engagement on issues that directly affect their communities.

For the Bayuganon youth, the event provided more than an opportunity to participateโ€”it became a space to listen, learn, and connect with fellow young leaders who share a common vision for a progressive Agusan del Sur.

One of the highlights of the gathering was the discussion on science-based agriculture development, led by Atty. Jaybe D. Quiรฑonez, Chief of Staff of the Congressional Office of Representative Adolph Edward โ€œEddiebongโ€ Plaza. His presentation gave the youth a broader understanding of how science, knowledge, and innovation can contribute to strengthening agriculture, one of the provinceโ€™s vital sectors.

The discussion also underscored the potential of young people to become partners in developmentโ€”not only as beneficiaries of programs and policies but as active contributors to finding solutions and creating opportunities for their communities.

Adding inspiration to the gathering were messages from Governor Santiago B. Cane Jr., Vice Governor Patricia Anne B. Plaza, and First District Representative Alfelito M. Bascug, who encouraged the youth to remain engaged, informed, and purposeful in their respective communities.

Their message resonated with the Bayuganon youth, who continue to demonstrate that young people can take an active role in community development through participation, leadership, and a willingness to learn.

As DUYOG 2026 brought together the young people of Agusan del Sur, the Bayuganon youth stood among a generation being called to do moreโ€”to speak up, take part, innovate, and lead.

For Bayuganโ€™s young generation, the journey toward a better future begins not tomorrow, but with the choices and actions they make today.

The awarding ceremony of HUDYAKA 2026, held on August 19, 2026, was more than a moment of recognitionโ€”it was a celebration of the people, organizations, and young leaders who turned participation into purpose and shared aspirations into meaningful action.

With the unwavering support of Hon. Kirk A. Asis, City Mayor, and through the leadership of Hon. Emgee Jhensen B. Lopez, SK Federation President/CYDC President, together with EnP. Jackielou R. Canoy, YDO Designate, HUDYAKA 2026 became a platform where the creativity, passion, leadership, and potential of Bayugan Cityโ€™s youth were given space to shine.

From various youth organizations, participating groups, volunteers, and individual participants, the ceremony proved one powerful truth: HUDYAKA is not defined only by who receives an award, but by everyone who chooses to be part of the journey. Behind every certificate, title, and accolade was a story of preparation, teamwork, courage, creativity, and commitment.

As names were called and achievements were celebrated, the atmosphere reflected the true spirit of โ€œDifferent Contexts, Common Aspirations.โ€ Different organizations may have carried different advocacies, talents, and experiences, but they stood together with one shared aspirationโ€”to build a youth community where every voice matters and every contribution creates an impact.

The August 19 awarding ceremony became the culmination of days filled with energy, competition, learning, friendship, service, and celebration. More than recognizing winners, it recognized the journey of every participant who showed courage to step forward, collaborate, compete, and contribute.

Ultimately, HUDYAKA 2026 proved that when different pieces come together, they create something greater than themselves. Every organization, participant, volunteer, youth leader, and supporter became a piece of a much bigger pictureโ€”a generation that does not simply participate, but leads, creates, serves, and inspires.

And as the final awards were handed out, one message remained clear: the real victory was not found on the stage alone, but in the unity, friendships, experiences, and inspiration created along the way.

Because in HUDYAKA, every piece has a purposeโ€”and together, we make the celebration whole.

Yesterdayโ€™s deliberation and final interviews gave the panel an opportunity to look beyond the documents and understand the leadership, initiatives, and impact of each finalist. The process was carefully assessed by our distinguished judgesโ€”Arrianne E. Ayuda and Charisse T. Calub of DILG Bayugan City, representing Maโ€™am Mary Nol P. Aban, CLGOO VI; Jackielou R. Canoy, YDO Designate; and Jonathan F. Gabais, Teacher and KKDAT Presidentโ€”whose expertise and dedication helped ensure a fair and meaningful evaluation.

Yesterday, August 19, 2026, as part of HUDYAKA 2026 โ€“ Linggo ng Kabataan, young people were given a well-deserved moment to pause, breathe, and be celebrated.

More than a day of beauty and relaxation, Youth Pampering Day was a celebration of self-worth, well-being, and the young spirit that continues to lead, serve, and inspire.

After giving their time, energy, and passion to the community, our youth were reminded of something equally important: they deserve to care for themselves, too.

Because youth empowerment is not only about leadership and serviceโ€”it is also about well-being, confidence, and knowing that you matter.

Yesterday, August 19, 2026, Hudyaka 2026 โ€“ Linggo ng Kabataan came alive as young leaders and youth organizations gathered to showcase not only who they are, but what they stand for.

Through the Youth Organization Exhibits, participating groups including KKDAT Bayugan City, PYAP, BCLCC, Bayugan Pride, IKILOS Bayugan, Division Federation of Secondary Learners Government, and Advent Youth Emergency Medical Team (AYEMT) opened a window into their advocacies, programs, talents, and meaningful contributions to the community.

Beyond the displays and presentations were stories of youth who choose to participate, lead, serve, and create change. Each organization represents a different context, a different advocacy, and a different journey, yet they are united by one aspiration: to build a more inclusive, active, empowered, and purpose-driven generation of young Bayuganons.

Because when young people come together, their differences do not divide themโ€”they become pieces of a bigger picture of hope, service, and collective action.
