Spreading smiles and supporting young minds! 📚🍦

On April 2, 2026, the Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Capayuran successfully distributed school supplies and free ice cream to the students of the Day Care Center. A total of 48 students received these supplies, bringing joy and excitement to their day.

As additional support for the community, six colors of Alphagena fabric, each measuring 10 meters long, were also provided to Capayuran Elementary School.

You could truly see the happiness of the students and the proud smiles of their parents—faces full of hope that warm the heart.

Through these simple acts, the care and unity within the community were clearly felt.

Small acts of kindness can make a big difference in shaping a brighter future for our children. 💙✨

Empowering the youth, one step at a time! 💙

The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Capayuran successfully conducted the KK Assembly on March 20, 2026, bringing together the youth to discuss important matters and future plans for the barangay. The activity encouraged active participation and strengthened the voices of young leaders in the community.

During the assembly, basketballs and volleyballs were distributed per zone, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and active engagement among the youth.

Following the assembly, a First Aid Symposium was held, led by the Bachelor of Physical Education (BPED) 3rd-year students from Notre Dame of Midsayap College.with the theme: “Act Fast, Save Lives: Promoting First Aid Awareness Among the Youth.”

The symposium was also graced by our guest speakers, Sir Royanne J. Lucena, RN, and Sir Oliver S. Arandilla,RN, who shared their knowledge and expertise, making the session more informative and meaningful.

The BPED 3 students also contributed by providing first aid kits per zone, ensuring that each area is equipped with essential tools to apply what they have learned.

The session offered valuable knowledge and practical tips on basic first aid, helping equip our youth with life-saving skills. Participants also learned the importance of staying calm and prepared during emergency situations.

Raffle prizes were also distributed, adding excitement and engagement to the event. 🎁

Guiding the youth towards a healthier and safer future! 💙

On March 14, 2026, the Social Work interns of Barangay Capayuran, together with the 3rd-year Social Work students from Southern Christian College, conducted a seminar entitled “Pause and Think” with the theme “Preventing Risky Behaviors Among Young People,” and “Play Smart” with the theme “Engaging Youth Through Sports to Prevent Risky Behaviors.”

The activity aimed to raise awareness and educate the youth on making responsible decisions while understanding the importance of their well-being. 🌱 Participants also received raffle prizes, adding excitement to the event.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to our guest speaker, Ma’am Danica Faith T. Luciano, RSW, MSW, for sharing her valuable knowledge and insights that truly inspired the youth.

After the seminar, an exhibition volleyball game for both men and women was held, along with a basketball shooting activity, as part of promoting “Engaging Youth Through Sports to Prevent Risky Behaviors.” 🏐🏀

These activities encouraged teamwork, discipline, and provided a positive outlet for the youth to stay active and avoid harmful influences.

Beyond the glitz and glamour, the event highlighted the intelligence, wit, and dedication of each contender. From the Q&A portion that revealed sharp minds and big hearts, to the stage presence that commanded every gaze, these young women truly embodied the spirit of Mutya ng Capayuran. ✨

A huge congratulations to all our amazing candidates for sharing their light, and to the winners whose hard work and talent earned them this recognition. Last night was not just a competition—it was a testament to passion, culture, and community coming together in the most beautiful way. 💖
