๐ฟ๐ Heads up, ECO-WARRIORS! ๐๐ฟ
Our very own YES-O President, Ms. Jaziel B. Seno, together with our YES-O Adviser, Ms. Jeany Vee S. Arguelles, actively participated in the 2-Day YES-O Camp Seminar with the theme: โYouth Empowering Schools and Organizations for Climate Change Adaptation and Mitigationโ held at Bannawag High School, Bannawag, Kabacan, Cotabato last August 1-2, 2025.
This camp served as a platform for young leaders to deepen their understanding of the urgent environmental challenges our world faces today. Participants engaged in three interactive ECO stations: ECO-TOUR, ECO-WAYAN, and ECO-FAMโeach offering unique discussions, hands-on activities, and meaningful learning experiences.
As the day ended, everyone gathered for ECO-Celebrateโa special evening filled with reflection, enjoyment, and camaraderie, where bonds were built among fellow campers from different schools.
Through this camp, student leaders like Ms. Jaziel gained practical strategies for climate change adaptation, such as promoting sustainable practices in schools and communities, as well as mitigation measures to reduce carbon footprints and encourage eco-friendly initiatives.
More than just learning, this experience empowered the youth to take action creating projects, campaigns, and advocacies that will inspire others to protect and preserve our planet.
Indeed, events like this highlight the vital role of the youth in shaping a greener, cleaner, and more sustainable future for all. ๐ฑ๐
