1st Anniversary Celebration

“OFW Families Though Miles Apart Still Connected By The Heart”

Passinhon Migrants and Families Association gathered for the General Assembly and 1st Anniversary Celebration on July 18, 2025 at Poblacion Ilaya Covered Gym.

Despite the stormy day, our officers and members successfully celebrated the said event. Joined by our beloved mayor, Atty. Stephen A. Palmares, Hon. Joe Divin B. Palencia and with the support of our very own Brgy. Captain Hon. Alma A. Palmares - matters on how to strengthen the cluster have been tackled. Pres. Jeanette P. Sayson - PMAFA President was also present; and Dulce Vida Manager Mrs. Glenda A. Tupaz who has given simple tokens to our OFW Balikbayan has added color to our event. Updates of our reports, accomplishments and projects have also been conveyed by Ms. Anne P.Denamarca our President - PMAFA Brgy. Poblacion Ilaya to our fellow members.

The day started with a Job fair conducted by PESO at City of Passi Arena (COPA). Local and national companies have joined forces to provide career opportunities to our job seekers. Followed by the PMAFA Coronation Night and Grand Draw in the evening as the highlights.

OFW Family Week Celebration
(Day 1)
December 2, 2024

PMAFA-Poblacion Ilaya family joins in celebrating the 3rd OFW Family Week together with the other baranggays of Passi City.

The activity started with a Eucharistic Mass at St. William Parish Church followed by the caravan and a Program held at COPA.

Mayor Stephen A. Palmares, was the keynote speaker. Various guests were also present including Anilao Mayor Lee Ann Debuque, OWWA Region 6 OIC James Mendiola, DOLE Region 6 Assistant Regional Director Melissa Navarra, and ATIKHA President Jofel Resol, PESO Passi City Rhea Palomillo, PMFA President Jeannette Sayson.
