We want to update everyone that ベルムデスレア has officially started her chemotherapy. This is the 𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬
(Initiay prescribed by Oncologist), and we are deeply grateful to all who have supported her journey so far.

We are thankful to share that we already have funds for the next two chemo sessions, 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝔀𝓮 𝔀𝓸𝓷’𝓽 𝓼𝓽𝓸𝓹 𝓼𝓮𝓮𝓴𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓱𝓮𝓵𝓹 𝓽𝓸 𝓼𝓾𝓼𝓽𝓪𝓲𝓷 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓻𝓮𝓼𝓽 𝓸𝓯 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓽𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓶𝓮𝓷𝓽.

We pray that this chemotherapy will stop the progression of her cancer, improve her condition, and hopefully lead to a point where she can either proceed with surgery safely—or, even better, no longer needs it at all.

B Girls — nabuo kami back in our San Joaquin Kalawaan High School days. A bunch of girls full of energy, maingay sa klase, laging naka baby powder, at walang takot amining proud sa mga crushes! 😅

Pero higit sa lahat, we were driven, hardworking, and confident to chase our dreams.

After all these years, iba-iba man ang laban sa buhay, buo pa rin ang samahan. Still the same B-Girls — yakap sa tawanan, sa luha, at higit sa lahat, sa isa’t isa.

What a joy and encouragement to embrace our dear Rea during this season of her fight. 💕

We haven’t posted in a few days — we’ve been quietly navigating Rea’s next steps after her diagnosis. To be honest, my heart breaks seeing what she’s been through, and still going through, without yet receiving the full treatment she needs.

ベルムデスレア was enrolled under PhilHealth Z Benefits for cancer patients with an accredited hospital (but wait there’s more to this story, we can’t celebrate yet)

Even with the Philhealth Z benefits. Sadly, it doesn’t cover everything — now she still needs ₱𝟑𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐨 𝐬𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 (Incuding other pre and post treatment, and she’ll need 8 sessions before surgery. The cost of the surgery is another mountain we will move in faith. ⛰️🙏🏼

𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲: It’s disheartening how difficult medical assistance can be for cancer patients. Rea is carrying a large mass in her left breast, with open wounds, infection, and unbearable pain. She was told to go to the hospital but ended up being sent home after hours of waiting because of a doctor’s unavailability. We pray that she’ll be surrounded by medical professionals with true compassion and a heart to serve.

In desperation, Rea sought help from another hospital, hoping to finally start chemo. She met with an oncologist who prescribed treatment at Tricity Hospital — but we later learned that once enrolled in PhilHealth Z Benefits with one hospital, she’s locked in for a year. She had no choice but to return to the same hospital and endure the system’s neglect. It feels like we’re begging just to get the care she deserves. But, she was advised to wait for another month (not to mention yung pabalik-balik nya sa hospital, with excruciating pain. She was left with no choice but to pay the medicine and chemo, para masimulan na ang treatment to another hospital. The pain was unbearable. We take a leap of faith and start the chemo.)

We continue to fight our battles on our knees — praying for Rea’s chemo, her surgery, and that her body responds well. Please help us lift her in prayer, and if your heart is moved, we humbly ask for any support you can extend. ❤️

Friends, let’s lift up Rea 𝐢𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐰— she’s currently in the waiting room for her 𝐏𝐄𝐓 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐧.

She’s been fasting and can’t take any medicine. She bravely opted for a no-sedation procedure and (the cheaper option) 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞, Let’s pray together that:

🙏🏼 She feels God’s comfort and presence throughout the entire procedure.
🙏🏼 She experiences less pain, so she won’t make any unnecessary movements.
🙏🏼 Her mind stays calm and her heart remains at peace during the long hours of the scan.
🙏🏼 The medical practioners attending her will have gentle hands and caring hearts 💕 .
🙏🏼 Her results will bring clarity, hope, and a positive path for treatment.
🙏🏼 Her kids, Franco and Lucas, who are cared for by relatives today, will be safe and comforted until they see their mom tomorrow.

We’ve reached our 100K lab test goal — and our hearts are overwhelmed with gratitude. This wasn’t something we could do on our own.
We walked by faith, not by sight — and God moved through each one of you.

Through your giving, your prayers, and your willingness to share, Rea was able to undergo her Bone Scan and Blood Work. There are still two more important tests ahead, 𝓫𝓾𝓽 𝓽𝓸𝓭𝓪𝔂 𝔀𝓮 𝓹𝓪𝓾𝓼𝓮 𝓽𝓸 𝓽𝓱𝓪𝓷𝓴 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓞𝓷𝓮 𝔀𝓱𝓸 𝓶𝓪𝓭𝓮 𝓽𝓱𝓲𝓼 𝓹𝓸𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓫𝓵𝓮.

We believe this is just the beginning of His work.
What we couldn’t do, God did — 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮.

And we trust that He, who began this good work, will be faithful to complete it. May He return to you tenfold what you’ve poured out in love and support.
