Subject: Public Statement Regarding Alleged Incident of Physical Abuse and Recruitment of Minors
It has come to our attention that a recent incident involving possible physical abuse against a female individual has been linked to persons allegedly associated with the organization known as TBS13. We, the members of TBS13 East Coast Familia QC Hood, would like to make a clear and formal statement to the public and to the Barangay Officials of Bagumbayan, Quezon City, regarding this matter.
First and foremost, TBS13 East Coast Familia QC Hood has no involvement in the said incident. While we acknowledge that we are part of the broader TBS13 organization, it is important to emphasize that each hood operates independently and upholds its own internal by-laws, principles, and processes.
There are currently two active hoods within Barangay Bagumbayan. We assure the community and authorities that our hood ā East Coast Familia QC ā is not engaged in any form of violence, physical abuse, or illegal activities. Our group is focused on character development, brotherhood, and community advocacy, with the goal of becoming a positive influence within our neighborhood.
We would also like to address the concern regarding the alleged recruitment of minors. Our hood does not recruit individuals below 18 years of age. Instead, we provide guidance and mentorship to younger individuals in the community to help them become responsible, respectful, and law-abiding citizens. Official membership in our organization is strictly limited to those who are 18 years old and above.
We remain open and cooperative with any inquiry or investigation that the Barangay or relevant authorities may conduct regarding this issue. Transparency, respect, and accountability remain core to our values as members of this community.
For verification, a complete list of members of TBS13 East Coast Familia QC Hood is available upon request for proper coordination with the Barangay and local authorities.
We ask the public not to generalize or judge our organization based on isolated actions of individuals not representing our principles. Our hood stands for unity, discipline, and positive community engagement.
