It breaks our hearts to share that Hanako passed away last night.

At around 11:30 PM, she experienced seizures. The vet team immediately administered emergency medications and placed her on oxygen. They did everything they could to stabilize her.

After about an hour, Hanako collapsed and did not respond to resuscitation efforts.

She fought until the very end. 💛

We are deeply grateful to everyone who prayed for her, donated, shared her story, and supported her throughout her journey. Your kindness meant everything to her and to us.

We still need to settle her remaining vet bill, and any excess donations will be used to give Hanako a proper and dignified aftercare.

Thank you for loving her, even for a short time.

Run free, Hanako. You are no longer in pain. 🕊️🐾

💛 Hanako Update + Call for Donations & Prayers 🐾

We’re sharing an important update about Hanako and humbly asking for your continued support—both in prayers and in helping us cover her growing medical expenses. 💔💛

Last Monday night, we noticed red spots on her p*e pad and that she was having difficulty pooping. Because of this, she was immediately brought to the vet last Tuesday for further tests and evaluation.

🩺 Medical Findings:
• Underwent 4-way test
• Negative for FPV, FCV, and FCoV
• Positive for Giardia (common in stray cats, but needs treatment)
• X-ray showed possible injury in her lumbar vertebrae, which may be affecting her bowel movement

📌 Current Condition & Treatment:
Hanako is currently being treated for:
• Infection in her perianal area and tail due to excessive licking
• Wounds on her hind legs caused by urine burn
• Giardia infection
• Ongoing management of her constipation
She remains under close medical supervision and is currently confined so she can receive proper care.

⚠️ Today’s Update:
According to the vet, Hanako had decreased appetite today and did not eat, so she was placed on IV fluids for hydration and support.
She is also less energetic today and appears weak. The medical team is closely monitoring her condition and adjusting her treatment as needed.

💸 Medical Expenses:
Hanako’s running vet bill is now at ₱4,990, covering her confinement, tests, medications, and ongoing treatment.
There is still no definite discharge date, and her expenses may continue to increase.

🙏 If you would like to help, please scan the QR code for donations included in this post. Any amount means so much.

✨ Despite everything, Hanako remains gentle and continues to fight. She has shown us again and again that she wants to live—and we are not giving up on her.

🙏 Please keep Hanako in your prayers.
🙏 Please help us share her story.

🏠 We are also still looking for a foster or adopter who can give Hanako a calm, loving home once she is discharged, to help ensure her continued recovery and healing.

Thank you for standing with Hanako. Your kindness gives her strength. 💛🐾

💛 Hanako Update + Still Looking for Foster/Adopter 🐾

Sharing a positive update about Hanako and continuing our search for a foster or forever home that can give her the extra love and care she deserves. 💛

✨ Good news:
✔️ She was successfully dewormed yesterday
✔️ Her belly is now noticeably smaller
✔️ She is becoming more energetic and playful
✔️ She gets 30 minutes of sunlight daily ☀️
✔️ She is on strictly portioned kitten food
✔️ Given daily multivitamins

With proper care and support, Hanako is slowly becoming stronger and healthier each day. Seeing her improve reminds us how much potential she has when given the right chance.

She still needs a foster or adopter who is patient, kind, and willing to continue helping her heal—someone who can give her a safe home and gentle guidance toward a more comfortable, happy life.

✨ All medical needs and basic supplies remain sponsored by volunteers.

🙏 If you can foster or adopt Hanako, please message us.
🙏 If you can’t, sharing this update can help her reach her person.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support her journey. Let’s keep going for Hanako. 💛🐾

URGENT: Foster or Adopter Needed for Hanako 🐾

📍 Found January 22 – Basement Parking

Meet Hanako, a ~3-month-old kitten (most likely female, still 50/50 due to her small size) who was found limping and alone in the basement parking area. She had a round, full stomach and was clearly uncomfortable—but the good news is that she has a strong appetite and eats well, which is a very positive sign for recovery. 💛

She was brought to the vet and assessed as a special-needs kitten who needs extra care while she heals.

🩺 Vet Findings & Care Plan:
• Currently on antibiotics and vitamins
• Deworming is scheduled after 7 days — volunteers will bring her to the vet
• Bow-legged, most likely caused by malnutrition
• Requires a special diet as she recovers
• Pain medication may be needed, depending on her progress
• Movement needs to be limited while she recovers and becomes stronger

✨ Important & hopeful note:
Hanako’s bowleggedness can still be corrected, especially with proper nutrition, rest, and simple home therapy.
⚠️ The first 6 months of her life are crucial for correction—this is the window where consistent care can make the biggest difference.

Because of her condition, Hanako urgently needs a foster home or an understanding adopter—a safe, indoor, and controlled space where she can rest, eat well, and recover without too much activity. Playing with other pets is also discouraged.

✨ What we provide:
✔️ All food, medications, and vet needs are fully sponsored by volunteers
✔️ Volunteers will also handle vet visits
✔️ Foster will receive guidance and ongoing support
✔️ You only need to provide a calm space, patience, and love

Hanako is gentle, eating well, and clearly a fighter. She doesn’t need perfection—just someone willing to give her the chance to grow strong while there’s still time.

🙏 If you can foster or consider adoption, please message us immediately.
🙏 If you can’t commit, sharing this post could help her reach the right home.

Let’s not miss this window for Hanako. 💛🐾

Urgent Foster or Adopter Needed for Cinta 🐾

Cinta is ready for a home—but she needs one now.

She’s already kapon and fully vaccinated (antirabies + 4-in-1), so she’s all set health-wise and just waiting for her person.

Cinta will do best in a home where she can be the only pet, where she can feel safe, secure, and loved without having to compete for space or attention.

To make it easier, we will provide a foster/adopter kit that includes food, bowls, cat litter, and a litter box.

She’s been patient for far too long, and we’re really hoping someone can open their home—whether as a foster or forever adopter—as soon as possible. Every day matters for her.

If you can’t adopt or foster, please help us by sharing Cinta’s story with your friends and family. One share could lead her to the home she’s been waiting for.

Please message us if you can help.

Let’s not let Cinta wait any longer. 🤍

2025 was a year of care, responsibility, and community for Cats of Brixton Place.

We share this year-end report to reflect the realities of caring for community cats - from daily feeding, medical care, spay and neuter efforts, and adoptions, to the difficult losses we faced. Behind every number were volunteers and supporters who stepped in to ensure continuous care, safety and harmony within our community. This report shows what responsible community cat care truly requires - because caring for a community is a shared responsibility.

As we welcome 2026, we look forward with hope — committed to building a safer, kinder, and more sustainable community for both residents and our community cats.

Thank you for being part of this journey. 🐾

🧡🐾 Thank You, Meownongs & Meownangs of Brixton Place! 🐾🧡

With the support of the community, Cats of Brixton Place has achieved 100% kapon and 100% vaccination coverage for all community cats within the property. This milestone reflects a responsible and humane approach to community cat management.

This was made possible through TNVR (Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return), a globally recognized method that stabilizes cat populations, improves animal welfare, reduces nuisance behaviors, and promotes public health and safety.

Each kapon procedure, even at low-cost rates, averages ₱1,500 per cat, covering trapping, spay/neuter surgery, long-acting antibiotics (Convenia), anti-rabies vaccination, and boarding. Completing the vaccination protocol — including anti-rabies and two (2) doses of 4-in-1 — averages an additional ₱1,950 per cat.

Some cats, such as Kaia and Parker, arrived already kapon, likely due to the TNVR efforts of . Others, including Pepita and Cinta, are beneficiaries of Cats of Kapitolyo’s kapon drives — demonstrating how coordinated TNVR efforts positively impact neighboring communities.

As we begin 2026, all Brixton Place community cats — including recent adoptees Levy and Orenji — are fully vaccinated, healthier, and part of a stable, well-managed program that benefits both residents and pets alike.

This milestone belongs to our amazing meownongs and meownangs of Brixton Place, whose continued support makes responsible community cat care possible. 🧡🐱

A Meal for Every Meow — EXTENDED 🐱✨

Because of your kindness, we’ve officially surpassed our goal of 678 sponsored meals. Every share, every peso, every act of care helped keep our community cats fed.

But feeding is a daily promise, not a one-time goal.
So we’re continuing A Meal for Every Meow to sustain meals, prepare for unexpected rescues, and make sure no bowl goes empty.

There’s no new target—just more chances to help.
Every extra meal still makes a difference. 💛

Thank you for helping us go beyond 678.
