🐾 FUNDRAISING & ADOPTION DRIVE RECAP: FIND YOUR PAWFECT MATCH 🐾

Brixton Place Pet Day 2026 (July 25-26) is officially a wrap, and our hearts are so full! 🧡

Here's what we accomplished together:

💰 ₱39,000 in net proceeds — raised through our "A Meal for a Meow" donations and sponsorships

🐟 A generous haul of food, litter, and treat donations to keep our community cats fed and healthy

🐱 Our beloved community cats (Jaz, Alfea, Kaia, Acro, Biggs, Ken, and Niki) are still looking for their furever homes — scan QR code to know more about them and the rest of our adoptables!

None of this would have been possible without:

🐾 Vet Day for Niki, Ken & Pepita! 💉💛

Despite the typhoon weather, our amazing volunteers braved the rain to make sure our community cats stay healthy, protected, and cared for.

🐱 Niki - 2nd 4-in-1 + anti-rabies vaccination, deworming, and ear cleaning. He remains at 1.5 kg.

🐱 Ken - 2nd 4-in-1 + anti-rabies vaccination and deworming. After just two weeks, Ken has gained over 2 kg and is now at 3.7 kg! 🎉 It’s wonderful to see him gaining weight and regaining his strength. ❤️

🐱 Pepita - 1-year anti-rabies renewal. She weighs 4.75 kg. 💕

🏡 And yes, Niki and Ken are still looking for their forever homes! If you think either of these sweet boys might be your pawfect match, send us a message. 🐾💛

Despite the typhoon weather, our amazing volunteers braved the rain to make sure our community cats stay healthy, protected, and cared for.

🐾 Brixton Place Community, we did it again! 💛

Together, we surpassed our A Meal for Every Meow Returns fundraising goal and raised enough to provide 1,127 meals for our community cats in the coming months. 🍽️🐱

While we didn't find a furever home for any of our adoptables this weekend, your generosity ensures they will continue to receive the food, care, and love they deserve as we keep searching for their pawfect families.

To everyone who donated, bought merchandise, supported our partner merchants, visited our booth, volunteered, and cheered us on—thank you. Every act of kindness helps us continue fostering compassion and harmony within Brixton Place, one paw at a time. ❤️🐾

Every kitten deserves to spend their childhood in a home—not in a parking basement. 🧡

Meet Niki, our newest community kitten. He's an estimated 2–3-month-old male currently staying at the basement parking of Brixton Place.

Like many community cats, Niki was a little aloof and cautious when we first met him. But it didn't take long before his feeder earned his trust, and now he happily comes over for food and care. Beneath that shy exterior is a sweet little kitten who's learning that people can be kind.

Before his first vet visit, we administered his first anti-flea treatment and deworming to give him the best possible start. Last Saturday, Niki then had his first veterinary check-up. Aside from being a little dehydrated, he's healthy, has a great appetite, and received his first 4-in-1 vaccine. On his next vet visit, he'll receive his second 4-in-1 vaccine together with his anti-rabies vaccination to complete his initial protection.

A heartfelt thank you to Niki's sponsor for making his check-up and vaccination possible. Your generosity has given this little boy a healthy start and a brighter future. 💛

Now we're hoping to give him something no community kitten should have to wait too long for—a safe place to grow up.

We're looking for a foster family who can give Niki a temporary safe haven, or even better, a forever family who will love him for life.

Ken’s Recovery Update 🧡 🐾

Today is a big milestone—Ken has been discharged! 🎉

From the weak little cat we first rescued, Ken has made incredible progress. His nasal discharge is completely gone, he’s eating well, and he’s looking so much healthier. During his stay at the vet, he was dewormed twice and successfully neutered.

Ken is now back with us and staying in our isolated cat condo in B1 while he finishes his course of antibiotics. Once he’s completed his medication, we’ll have him vaccinated.

Since Ken tested positive for FIV and FeLV, he’ll need to continue living separately from other cats unless they’re also FIV/FeLV-positive.

Donation & Expense Update 🧡

• Total veterinary bill: ₱18,130
• Total donations received: ₱20,250

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated and helped make Ken’s recovery possible. The remaining funds will be used for his upcoming vaccination and his daily food and care while he waits for a home.

Our biggest wish now is to find Ken a foster—or, even better, his forever family. If you or someone you know can give him a loving home, please send us a message. Even sharing this post can help Ken find the second chance he deserves. Thank you for being part of his journey. 🧡🥹
