ᴀɴᴏ? ᴛᴀʀᴀ ꜱᴀ ᴋᴏʀᴇᴀ? 🛫🇰🇷

We are formally opening applications for World Youth Day 2027 in Seoul, South Korea! This is the biggest youth gathering of the Catholic Church, and it is finally going back to Asia. For the first time, it will be held in a country where Catholics are the minority, only 6 million people or 11% of the population.

This is open to active and reserved personnel of the AFP, PNP, PCG, BFP, and BJMP, their dependents, and civilian youth and ministers serving in MOPCY churches, ages 14 to 60 depending on your category. Last July 21, 2026, our Military Bishop, His Excellency Most Rev. Oscar Jaime L. Florencio, DD, SThD, appointed a new set of chaplains to guide the Youth of the Military Ordinariate. 🎉

The Church stays alive because of the youth. We are not just the future, we are also the present of the Church. The commission is excited for the guidance and support these new chaplains will bring. There are a lot of activities lined up, and we hope you get to feel the warm love of the MOP Youth. 💛

Ang dami nang henerasyon ng kabataang MOP ang ginabayan mo at pinasaya ng galing mo sa pagkanta. Ramdam din namin ang pagmamahal mo, sa pagtulong maghanap ng sponsors, sa pag-aayos ng transpo, hanggang sa mga kulitan at palibre. 🚗🎤

Bagamat magbabago na ang tatahakin nating landas, marahil ito na ang tawag ni Kristo tungo sa mas malaking gawain na kailangan ng inyong kakayahan.

Maraming salamat po sa taos-pusong paglilingkod, Father! Good luck po sa susunod ninyong appointment. Lagi po kayong welcome sa MOPCY, at ipagdarasal po namin kayo. ✨🙏

‎Our camp visit to San Lorenzo Ruiz Chapel, Camp Melchor Dela Cruz last August 21–23 was made extra special because of the people who welcomed us with open arms. 💛

‎Thank you, 5ID delegates, for the laughter, fellowship, and memories. Three days of togetherness, countless moments to remember, and a reminder that we are never truly alone. 🥹✨
