A Meaningful Governor’s Visit ✨

Yesterday, the Rotary Club of Pasay Prime had the honor of welcoming District Governor Mary Mei Rodrigo for our official Governor’s Visit held at Golden Bay, Pasay City.

The event was graced by our respective Area Officers, District Officers, and special guests — our SDGs from other areas (Manila and Cavite). We’re also grateful to have at least half of our club members present to represent Pasay Prime’s growing fellowship and commitment to service.

It was truly an insightful gathering, filled with sharing of project ideas, improvements for our upcoming initiatives, and valuable discussions on strengthening our club.

We are deeply honored to receive Gov. Mary Mei and District Officers' kind words, recognizing Pasay Prime as a mature and organized club despite being only three years young, and commending our comprehensive and well-structured report.

Progress through collaboration and purpose. 💙

The Rotary Club of Pasay Prime successfully conducted its Team Visit last October 3 at Networld Hotel, highlighting the club’s accomplishments within the first quarter and presenting future plans for the next months of the Rotary Year.

We were honored by the presence of our Pasay Area Officers— SDG Malou Flores Salazar, DAD Franz Layugan, AG Michael Nas, Membership Area Representative Lou Combinido, AG at Large Leonora Al Bawardy, AG Nely Pastores and our very own, SDG and Charter President, Jojo Mañez, who shared their insights and recommendations to help us refine our goals and preparations for the upcoming Governor’s Visit.

A Rotary Literacy Mission

The Rotary Club of Pasay Prime continues its commitment to nurturing young minds through the 2nd leg of its flagship literacy mission held last September 19 at Gotamco Elementary School.

Through storytelling, reading activities, and engaging learning materials and with the participation of 70 eager students, the activity was filled with storytelling, interactive reading, and lessons that inspired a love for learning.

Through this initiative, we continue to share knowledge, imagination, and hope, one page at a time.

Last September 18 at the Cuneta Astrodome Function Room, the Rotary Club of Pasay Prime, in partnership with The Rotary Club of Pasay MOA and Barangay 76 Zone 10 Pasay City In Action conducted a Basic Life Support Training and HIV/AIDS Awareness Seminar with over 40 teenage and young adult beneficiaries.

The session was made possible with the guidance of Philippine Red Cross trainers and guest speakers on HIV/AIDS FAQs, equipping participants with practical first-aid skills and vital health knowledge.

Together, Rotary and our partners continue to build healthier, safer, and more informed communities. 💪🏼

"Project Basa Tayo! Isang Pahina, Isang Pag-asa"

Yesterday at Gotamco Elementary School in Brgy. 18, Pasay City, we had the joy of sitting side-by-side with almost 70 young learners, guiding them through reading and helping them strengthen their comprehension skills. With the support and guidance of their dedicated teachers, we saw the spark in their eyes as they understood new words and new ideas.

We also shared simple treats — snack breads, water, and juice, not just with the students, but also with their hardworking professors. Because we believe that learning is best nurtured with both knowledge and care.
