Despite the shift to an online format, we remain dedicated to remembering, committing to, and raising awareness about HIV/AIDS. On a daily basis, someone needs blood approximately every two seconds due to different complications such as pregnancy, children with severe anemia, malaria or malnutrition, accident victims, surgical and cancer patient. Due to the fact that blood cannot be generated outside the body and has a limited shelf life, the supply must be renewed on a regular basis by blood donors through blood donation programs.
