We would like to inform everyone that the extension of the Filing of Certificates of Candidacy (COC) will be open until September 22, 2026, at the same designated place and time.

Therefore, if you are willing and genuinely determined to serve the student body, this is your opportunity to seize the moment and step forward as an aspiring SSG Officer. Your willingness to lead, dedication to service, and commitment to representing the student community can become the foundation of meaningful change within our institution.

Ngayong Araw ng mga Bayani, ating ginugunita at binibigyang-pugay ang katapangan, sakripisyo, at walang-kapagurang pagmamahal ng ating mga pambansang bayani na nag-alay ng kanilang buhay para sa kalayaan at kinabukasan ng ating bayan.

Ngunit ang kabayanihan ay hindi lamang bahagi ng ating kasaysayan. Patuloy itong nabubuhay sa mga bagong bayani ng ating panahon—mga g**o, health workers, manggagawa, magsasaka, OFWs, kawani ng pamahalaan, at mga ordinaryong Pilipinong patuloy na nagsisilbi, nagsasakripisyo, at tumutulong para sa kapwa at sa bayan. ❤️🇵🇭

Nawa'y magsilbing inspirasyon sa atin ang kanilang halimbawa upang maging responsable, matapang, makatao, at may malasakit sa ating kapwa. 📢 PCC-SSG ELECTION: CALL FOR ASPIRING STUDENT LEADERS

PCCians, are you ready to become a leader?

A leader with passion, dedication, integrity, and genuine love for service, a leader who will stand as the voice of the students and not their enemy, a leader who will become their advocate, representative, and servant toward a better and more meaningful future for the entire student body.

If you are ready to take on this responsibility, then this is your time to seize the opportunity to run, lead, and serve the students of Parañaque City College. Let us uphold the welfare, rights, interests, and voices of every PCCian and work together toward a stronger and more empowered student community.

📢 FILING OF CERTIFICATE OF CANDIDACY (COC)

The Filing of Candidacy will be held on:

📅 September 2, 2026
⏰ 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
📍 OSAS Office, Room 111

Please be reminded that after the allotted date and time, the filing of the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) will automatically close. No COC will be accepted beyond the prescribed deadline.

📋 QUALIFICATIONS OF CANDIDATES

Any student aspiring to run for an elective position in the PCC-SSG must satisfy all of the following qualifications:

1. Must be a bona fide student of Parañaque City College.
2. Must have completed at least one (1) academic year of residency at the College.
3. Must have obtained a General Weighted Average (GWA) of not lower than 2.50 in the semester immediately preceding the election and must maintain this academic standing throughout the term of office.
4. Must have no failing grade or INC (Incomplete) grade in any subject during the previous semesters.
5. Must be currently enrolled in at least eighteen (18) academic units, except for graduating students in their final term.
6. Must have no pending administrative case or record of disciplinary action involving a major or grave offense during the previous semesters.
7. Must demonstrate commitment, integrity, accountability, and willingness to serve, while upholding the Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives of the Supreme Student Government and Parañaque City College.

- Good Moral Certificate
- Parent/Guardian Consent

Especially to the aspiring candidates of the upcoming SSG Election, the Electoral Board would like to issue a new announcement regarding the updated requirements and qualifications. We strongly encourage everyone concerned to read the information carefully and thoroughly.

Last week, we disseminated a QR code along with an official announcement detailing the qualifications and requirements for those intending to run for a position in the SSG. These criteria are grounded in the Omnibus Election Code of the Electoral Board and the SSG Constitution and By-Laws.

In this regard, we respectfully urge all prospective candidates to scan the QR code once again to review the additional requirements that have been recently uploaded to our Google Drive repository.

Please ensure that you are fully informed and compliant with all stipulated guidelines.

Good day, Pccians.

The filing of the Certificate of Candidacy (COC) is still ongoing. The Electoral Board strongly encourages all PCC students who are willing and genuinely passionate about running for a specific position in the SSG to secure the official form and formally file their COC with Prof. Elbert or Dean Nikki.

Please be reminded that the final day for filing the COC is on Saturday, February 28, 2026, until 12:00 noon. No submissions will be accepted beyond the stated deadline.
