Loud cheers and strong Scout spirit filled the grounds during the Yell Competition at the 48th Eastern Pangasinan Council Jamboree held on February 28, 2026 at Don Benito, Pozorrubio, Pangasinan, with the theme “Be Prepared: Leadership for Life.”
1st Place – Sto. Tomas District
2nd Place – Tayug II District
3rd Place – Pozorrubio

The competition was judged by Hon. Jairus Thom D. Dulay, Municipal Councilor of San Nicolas, Pangasinan, and Dr. Wilfredo C. Ceneze Jr., Head Teacher III of Doña Consolacion Sta. Maria Elementary School.

🎖️ Theme: “Be Prepared: Leadership for Life”

Last February 28, the second day of our Jamboree began with meaningful and action-packed modules that strengthened the knowledge, skills, and leadership of every Scout.

Our Boy Scouts (Elementary) actively participated in:

🚑 First Aid Bandaging
🍳 Survival Cooking
💡 Scout Ideals

Meanwhile, our Senior Scouts (Secondary) confidently took on:

⛺ Improvised Tent Construction

The morning was filled with teamwork, determination, and hands-on learning. From mastering lifesaving techniques to building practical camp structures, our Scouts truly lived out the spirit of the theme — Be Prepared: Leadership for Life. 💚🔥

𝟒𝟖𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐥 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐎𝐟𝐟 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐲

The 48th Eastern Pangasinan Council Jamboree officially launched on February 27, 2026, with a grand opening ceremony held at ℬ𝓇𝑔𝓎.𝒟ℴ𝓃 ℬℯ𝓃𝒾𝓉ℴ, 𝒫ℴ𝓏ℴ𝓇𝓇𝓊𝒷𝒾ℴ,𝒫𝒶𝓃𝑔𝒶𝓈𝒾𝓃𝒶𝓃.Scouts and leaders from the 4th, 5th, and 6th Districts gathered to celebrate the spirit of service, leadership, and camaraderie under this year’s theme, “𝐁𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐝: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐟𝐞.”

The Entrance of Colors was led by the Senior Scouts of ℬ𝒶𝓊𝓉𝒾𝓈𝓉𝒶 𝒩𝒶𝓉𝒾ℴ𝓃𝒶𝓁 ℋ𝒾𝑔𝒽 𝒮𝒸𝒽ℴℴ𝓁, who marched with pride and precision. As the Philippine Flag, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Regional Flag (Ilocos Region), and the 48th Eastern Pangasinan Council Jamboree Flag were raised alongside the Scout colors, the crowd stood in solemn respect—a powerful reminder of the values of 𝒽ℴ𝓃ℴ𝓇,𝒹𝒾𝓈𝒸𝒾𝓅𝓁𝒾𝓃ℯ,and 𝓈ℯ𝓇𝓋𝒾𝒸ℯ that guide every Scout.

Distinguished guests graced the ceremony, including Miss Imelda S. Samson, BSP Ilocos Region Area Director; Mr. Rodolfo T. Fabro, Council Chairman of the Eastern Pangasinan Council; and Hon. Kelvin T. Chan, Host Municipal Mayor of Pozorrubio, Pangasinan. Their presence highlighted the strong support of both the Scouting movement and the local government for the development of young leaders.

As the opening ceremony came to a close, the excitement and energy lingered in the air. The jamboree is more than just an event—it’s a chance for Scouts to grow, learn, and build friendships that will last a lifetime.
