Its primordial coastlines and riverbanks were inhabited predominantly by the Kalagan tribe and with the B'laans deeper inland. By 15 July 1949, it was granted a township status, thus, was officially called as the Municipality of Padada. Today, the Municipality of Padada is under the leadership of the newly elected Mayor, Atty. Her zeal for Tourism will make Padada a must go place in the offing
