periOperative Registered Nurses Association of the Philippines, Inc. (ORNAP) extends its warmest congratulations to Dr. Jose Brittanio "Brix" Pujalte Jr. on his appointment as the new Secretary of the Department of Health!

A veteran orthopedic surgeon and career public health administrator with over three decades of service, Dr. Pujalte brings a wealth of experience in hospital management, medical education, and public healthcare leadership to this new role.

ORNAP looks forward to working alongside the Department of Health in advancing perioperative nursing excellence, patient safety, and quality healthcare for every Filipino.

The ORNAP Misamis Occidental Chapter was honored to be part of the Serbisyo Caravan held in Barangay Kinangay Sur, Clarin, Misamis Occidental, bringing essential healthcare services closer to the community.

As part of the activity, our dedicated perioperative nurses conducted a free Operation Tuli for more than 50 young boys from Kinangay Sur and neighboring barangays. Through teamwork, skill, and compassionate care, we helped provide safe and accessible surgical services to children and their families.

This outreach reflects our commitment to extending perioperative nursing care beyond the operating room and into the communities we serve. Every successful procedure represents not only improved health outcomes but also the collective effort of nurses who willingly shared their time, expertise, and service for the benefit of others.

We extend our sincere appreciation to the Local Government Unit of Clarin, the organizers of the Serbisyo Caravan, and all partner agencies and volunteers whose collaboration made this meaningful activity possible.

To our ORNAP members, thank you for your dedication, professionalism, and unwavering spirit of service. Your efforts continue to make a positive impact in the lives of many.
