Many people ask why we are so strict and selective when it comes to adopting out our community cats. Some even say, "Puspin lang naman 'yan, bakit masyadong maarte?"
Our answer is simple: because they deserve the best chance at life.
Think about it—why do people choose to adopt from shelters and rescue groups instead of simply picking up a stray from the street?
Because the cats have already received care. They are socialized, litter-trained, vaccinated, dewormed, and spayed or neutered. Adopting them saves time, effort, and veterinary expenses while giving a cat a second chance at a better life.
So why should we settle for less for our community cats?
We don't look for adopters just to reduce the number of cats we feed or care for. We work hard to find them homes because they deserve loving families, proper medical care, safety, and comfort.
And as volunteers, nothing makes us happier than seeing them thrive in homes where they are loved, healthy, and treated as family.
Because being a puspin should never mean being given fewer opportunities in life. 🐾❤️
