Jollibee Group Foundation

Jollibee Group Foundation Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF) is the social development arm of Jollibee Group. Jollibee Group Foundation, Inc.

JGF promotes improved access to food by implementing programs on agriculture, education, and disaster response. (JGF) believes in harnessing the strengths of its parent company, Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC), and those of its partners, for community development. The Foundation builds into the design of its programs the relevant strengths of JFC as a foodservice company so that program sustainability would have a fairly good chance.

Caring for our environment is a shared responsibility—one that takes steady, collective action. 🌱

Since 2023, 30,550 mangrove seedlings have been planted through the efforts of employee volunteers, franchisees, and partners, working alongside local communities to support mangrove restoration.

These efforts help protect coastlines, support livelihoods, and strengthen communities facing changing environmental conditions.

Aligned with the Jollibee Group’s Joy for Tomorrow Sustainability Agenda, we remain committed to nurturing communities while caring for the ecosystems they depend on.

🎉 Looking back on 20 years of working with communities!

As we move forward, we’re sharing our 20th Year Milestone Report—a look at how the Jollibee Group Foundation has grown alongside farmers, schools, and communities across the Philippines.

Since 2007, the Jollibee Group Foundation has been partnering with farmers, schools, and communities to help improve livelihoods, support learning, and strengthen food systems.

More importantly, it reflects what’s ahead: continuing to work toward a Philippines where more families can share food on the table and opportunities for a better future.

When children have a proper meal, they can focus better in class and enjoy learning.

Since 2007, the Jollibee Group Foundation’s Busog, Lusog, Talino (BLT) Central Kitchen Program has been supporting Filipino students by providing daily meals in schools.

🍽️ Over 300,000 students served to date
🏫 40 BLT Kitchens nationwide
👧🏽 43,000+ students reached daily in 2025

Behind these numbers are classrooms where students are more present, teachers can focus on teaching, and communities come together to support children.

In partnership with the Department of Education and local communities, BLT continues to reach more schools and create better conditions for learning.

What does it take to support farmers at scale?

At the 9th Sustainable Agriculture Forum organized by the ECCP - European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines, our Program Director, Amy Melissa Chua, joined leaders from government and the private sector to discuss how partnerships can better support smallholder farmers.

Drawing from our Farmer Entrepreneurship Program, she shared what it takes for farmers to become reliable partners in institutional supply chains:

📌 Reliability is built together. Farmers strengthen their capacity, while buyers provide consistent and predictable demand
📌 Organizing farmers into clusters or cooperatives enables scale and stronger market engagement
📌 Sustainable partnerships go beyond procurement. They require co-investment in skills, systems, and long-term trust

At JGF, we’ve learned that engaging farmers as entrepreneurs leads to more resilient and inclusive value chains.

For organizations working with farmers, we continue to share the Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach through our free online course, which will reopen soon

Strengthening systems that support farmers, from harvest to market.

Jollibee Group Foundation’s Executive Director, Gisela Tiongson, joined the Hand-in-Hand National Investment Forum 2026 to share how better post-harvest and logistics systems can help farmers achieve more stable incomes.

Organized by the Department of Agriculture - Philippines (DA), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the Asian Development Bank (ADB), the forum brought together partners working to strengthen food systems and rural development.

Here are some key insights from the discussion:

📌 Post-harvest and logistics are not just support functions; they directly affect farmer incomes, food loss, and price stability.
📌 Reliable market access helps reduce risk and opens opportunities for financing and support.
📌 Strong coordination across the value chain—from production to delivery—is essential to meet real demand.
📌 Infrastructure must be matched with capacity building so farmers can operate as agro-enterprises.
📌 Financing works best when it supports the full value chain and is designed for long-term sustainability.

At JGF, we continue to focus on connecting farmers to markets, because when systems work together, communities are better supported.

Nourishing communities through shared purpose 🤝

Our local FEP partners from AGAP through Ahon Sa Hirap (ASHI), delivered fresh vegetable donations 🥬 to the Art Relief Mobile Kitchen (ARMK) in support of their ongoing community feeding efforts in Los Baños, Laguna.

Beyond providing produce, the ASHI team also volunteered their time to help prepare meals for tricycle drivers and their families affected by the current crisis in Barangay Batong Malake.

From farm to kitchen to community, this is what partnership looks like in action.

Together, we continue to share nourishment where it matters most.

Stronger partnerships for resilient communities 🌱

For farmers, timely weather information can shape daily decisions and protect their livelihoods.

Together with the Peace and Equity Foundation (PEF), we’re bringing the Weather Info Notification System (WINS) and Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach (AECA) to more communities.

Through WINS, farmers receive localized weather updates via SMS. Through AECA, farmer groups are supported to grow into agro-enterprises and connect with institutional markets.

Together, we’re helping communities become more prepared, more connected, and better equipped for the challenges ahead.

The Peace and Equity Foundation (PEF) and Jollibee Group Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding on April 21 to implement Jollibee's Weather Info Notification System (WINS) and Agro-Enterprise Clustering Approach (AECA) in PEF focus areas.

Present at the MOU signing are PEF Executive Director Roberto R. Calingo, PEF Deputy Executive Director Cauchie Garcia, JGF Executive Director and PEF Board Member Gisela Tiongson, JGF Board member and former PEF Chair Senen Bacani, and JGF Program Director LA Cruzat.

WINS will provide farmers with localized daily weather forecasts, including SMS alerts, to support data-driven agricultural weather decisions. AECA, on the other hand, is a program designed to train farmers in agri-business, enabling them to market their produce directly to institutional buyers.

Grounded in its roots in the restaurant business, the Jollibee Group Foundation (JGF) has long believed that food plays a vital role in a child’s ability to stay in school and reach their full potential.

Through the Busog, Lusog, Talino (BLT) Central Kitchen Program, JGF works with schools, the Department of Education, local governments, and community volunteers to provide daily meals to children, strengthening both body and mind.

As we enter a new chapter, we remain committed to working with communities to nourish children today and help build brighter tomorrows.
