OCCCI Guiuan Branch initiated a Tree Growing Activity at the Office of the Municipal Agriculture in Salcedo (OMAS), Eastern Samar last October 23, 2025.

Together with its dedicated staff, ESSU Guiuan OJTs, OMAS staff (who are also coop members), and the Municipal Agriculturist of Salcedo, Mr. Juanito S. Omlang, we planted trees at Brgy. Naparaan, Salcedo, Eastern Samar.

OCCCI Guiuan extends its heartfelt thanks to Mr. Omlang for the warm welcome and for sharing his expertise on the proper tree spacing and planting techniques.

A unique exhibition game lit up the Pintuyan Municipal Gymnasium today, September 23, 2025, as selected OCCCI employees went head-to-head with priests from the Diocese of Maasin.

The friendly match brought together clergy from parishes in Anahawan, St. Bernard, Divisoria-Bontoc, Pintuyan, Baybay, Maasin Cathedral, San Juan, and Inopacan.

OCCCI expressed it gratitude to Pintuyan Municipal Mayor Hon. Ricarte A. Estrella for supporting the activity and for opening the doors for the Cooperative to engage with Pintuyan and its neighboring communities.

According to Mr. Joel Hinay, OCCCIโ€™s SHEER Advocacy Officer, the event was also a great opportunity for OCCCI to connect with the various priests from the Diocese of Maasin while promoting wellness.

As a strong advocate of health and wellness, OCCCI fittingly concluded its two-day business planning with Zumba session and a friendly volleyball tournament featuring the five districts of operations and its very own SHEER Spikers team.

Beyond promoting fitness, this activity fostered camaraderie, teamwork, and the cooperative spirit, making it a refreshing and meaningful way to close the planning sessions.
