The Eco Science Camp of Scinergist club, held last November 28–29 at Divine Word College of San Jose was a day and a half of pure learning, teamwork, and unforgettable fun! 🔬🌎💚

From hands-on activities to bonding moments that sparked curiosity and friendship, this camp truly proved how science can unite us! 🤝🔭

A huge thank you to CSC, Rotaract, The Pioneer, YEC, Refrain and RCYC that supported and collaborated with us—you made this event richer, stronger, and more meaningful. 🙌💛

Clare Rilloraza Baltazar was a Filipina entomologist specializing in systematic and economic entomology who made major contributions to the study of Philippine Hymenoptera, discovering eight new genera and 108 new species of parasitic wasps. Lourdes J. Cruz is a distinguished Filipino biochemist recognized globally for her research on the toxic peptides (conotoxins) found in the venom of Conus marine snails. Her pioneering work has led to the characterization of over 50 biologically active peptides, which have vital applications in developing diagnostic tools for cancers and drugs for neurological disorders. For these significant scientific contributions, she was named a National Scientist of the Philippines in 2006.

The Scinergist Club lit up the Lecture Room last November 17, 2025 at 4:30 PM with an exciting and head-to-head Science Quiz Bee—where curiosity met competition and brilliance shined brighter than ever. 💡🌟

From mastering the Sci-Terms of the Week, celebrating the Siyentista of the Week, to diving deep into the wonders of general science, our Scinergists showed what passion and teamwork are all about. 🔬💫
