๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐€๐†๐‘๐ˆ-๐๐”๐‘๐“๐”๐‘๐„๐’ is implemented by the ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐€๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž, ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ ๐‹๐ฎ๐ณ๐จ๐ง ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, in collaboration with the ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐„๐ฑ๐ญ๐ž๐ง๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‚๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ and the ๐‹๐จ๐œ๐š๐ฅ ๐†๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ง๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ญ (๐‹๐†๐”) ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ข๐œ๐ฎ๐š๐ง, ๐๐ฎ๐ž๐ฏ๐š ๐„๐œ๐ข๐ฃ๐š, with the goal of strengthening farmers' knowledge and promoting sustainable rice-based production technologies through research and extension.

The program formally commenced with welcome remarks delivered by ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‚๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ง๐ง๐ž ๐Ž. ๐๐š๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š, who warmly welcomed the participants and emphasized the importance of strengthening farmers' knowledge on integrated crop protection. This was followed by a series of technical lectures conducted by the faculty members of the Department of Crop Protection. ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐‰๐š๐ฒ๐ฉ๐ž๐ž ๐‡. ๐„๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ ๐จ๐ฒ discussed insect pests and their management, while ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐‰๐จ๐ฌ๐ก๐ฎ๐š ๐. ๐†๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ญ๐š๐ง๐  highlighted the importance of beneficial arthropods and microorganisms. ๐Œ๐ฌ. ๐€๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ง๐ž ๐“. ๐Ž๐ญ๐š๐ง๐ž๐ฌ and ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐ƒ๐š๐ซ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง ๐Œ. ๐‹๐š๐ง๐๐ข๐œ๐ก๐จ presented the topic on plant diseases and their management. The lecture series concluded with ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‚๐ž๐ฅ๐ฒ๐ง๐ง๐ž ๐Ž. ๐๐š๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐š, who discussed w**ds and their management.

Through knowledge-sharing and farmer engagement, the Department of Crop Protection remains committed to advancing science-based pest, disease, and w**d management practices that contribute to productive and sustainable rice farming communities.

Through active participation in waste segregation and sorting activities, the department reaffirmed its dedication to responsible solid waste management practices and the promotion of a cleaner, more sustainable environment.

The Pest Management Society successfully conducted a mass work activity on June 24, 25, and July 3 at the Department of Crop Protection. This initiative brought together members of the organization in a collective effort to clean, organize, and maintain the department's premises.

The organization extends its appreciation to all members who took part and contributed their time and effort toward the success of this activity. Initiatives like these reinforce the bond within the organization and its commitment to the department.
